I love the Beatles but am always skeptical of any movie that attempts to recreate any of their work in any way. Even still, I feel compelled to watch. This movie definitely met my expectations for what it is. Enjoyable storyline, good voice, nice selection of songs, etc. This was an enjoyable date night movie with my wife.

I loved this story. While it’s got the holes that a typical alternate reality narrative normally has, since it’s a fantasy anyway, it makes the viewer feel like it could actually have occurred. Kate McKinnon as Debra Hammer is hilarious in her supporting role. Himesh Patel as Jack Malik can definitely hold his own; and Lily James as Ellie Appleton is always a pleasure to watch. If you like a feel good story not based in reality you will enjoy yourself.

Yesterday works on the interesting premise that the music of the Beatles is forgotten to all but one man--Jack. Acted and performed brilliantly and with a stellar cast, Yesterday is yet another pat on the back for Danny Boyle--equal parts humor and heartbreak with just enough gravitas to make it feel real.

I love this movie and the concept. I first rented it and then had to buy it. It’s got great comedy, a bit of romance and great singing. I then even bought the Beatles soundtrack and then even bought the soundtrack from the movie because I enjoyed how the actor sang their songs. My recommendation is that you go and buy it.

I watch a LOT of movies in my home theatre and this is one of my very favorites. I bought the UHD DVD and have watched it several times. The audio and video quality is superb. Highly recommended.

I am a Beatles fan, so I just had to get this alternate reality film. The whole idea of "what if" the Beatles never existed, really made you think how music might have developed without their influence. Nice twists and turns with the main character. Won't spoil the plot so rent or buy and enjoy a nice little film.

I had high expectations for this one, and it disappointed a little. It was ok, but they could have done a much better job with this one.

THE STORY IS GREAT ..NO OLD REBOOT HERE !! LOVED THE WHOLE THING !!1...THADDED COOLNESS IS THAT BOTH GEORGE MARTIN Sr. & Jr. MIXED AND MANAGED THE MUSIC FOR THE SOUNDTRACK DIRECTLY, FROM THE INPUT OF SIR PAUL McCARTNEY.. SOME OF THE TUNES WERE ACTUALLY RECORDED AT "ABBY ROAD STUDIOS" !!!

This is a very delightful movie for us Beatles fans. Himesh Patel performs their classic songs exceptionally well. It's an entertaining thought to have a single individual with a memory of the Beatles in a world where no one else has heard of them.

I started this movie on a cruise I took in February and didn’t get to watch all of it. I enjoyed what I did get to see So I bought it!! I LOVE this movie!! I loved it so much I bought the soundtrack! If you love the Beatles, Himesh Patel did a fantastic job in both the movie and soundtrack!

This movie made the perfect present for one of the biggest Beatles fans I know! It had them smiling ear to ear and chomping at the bit to get near a television set! Good packing and overall great product!

This has become a personal favorite. Many memorable Beatles songs are weaved into a modern love story that keeps us guessing about where it's going. The supporting characters are likable, which always helps. I don't mind re-watching this one every few months or so.

I'm sure if you're a fan of the Beatles or maybe a fan of the origin stories behind music, then this movie title peaked your interest. While the film gives you tons to love about the cover sound in some hit songs of the movie it may leave others feeling unimpressed. The cinematography and imaginative alternate universe is fun though and will make any other film buff enjoy it.

The story, the plot, the actors and the music was just great! How they put this whole story together was giving us a constant smile. It was funny how they would mention something and it was a "what?". Just a well done and a must-see movie. Totally enjoyed it!

I've always been a fan of the Beatles and this movie was a joy to watch. Yes, it's a fantasy, but occasionally it's really nice to just be entertained. The trick was to tie all the pieces together and at the end they found a very unexpected way to accomplish just that.

I saw this movie at the theaters when it came out. I couldn’t wait to buy it on DVD. It is such a sweet movie. You don’t have to be a major Beatles fan to love this movie, I didn’t listen to them growing up. Watching this movie has made me appreciate their music more though.

Awesome movie great concept of how everybody in the world forgot about the Beatles except for this one semi talented musician who now is charged with remembering all of their work and reintroducing it to the masses who for them it's their first time hearing it ever

What happens if you are the only person who remembers the Beatles ? A unique love letter to the fab 4 and the music that helped shape a generation. What is so striking is that these songs are just as fresh and amazing as when they first came out.

The world has erased The Beatles somehow and the main character seems to be the only one that remembers The Beatles music. So he claims it as his own. Hold on to your seats for a magical ride as he tours the world singing Beatles songs. I had a blast watching this movie!

This uncomplicated film meanders through a charming story featuring charming characters. Its unique premise includes all of the great Beatles tunes you love, coupled with a few unexpected twists. This has become one of my favorite date-night movies!
