Yesterday is a terrific movie and and a must watch for Beatles fans everywhere!

This was a great movie and would recommend it to anyone who likes the Beatles

A friend dragged me to see this with her at the theater. It didn't sound interesting to me at all, and I'm not a Beatles fan. I went with her for her sake, and left the theater deciding that it is easily one of my favorite films of 2019. It's not perfect, but the sci-fi element is quite fun. I like the renditions of these Beatles songs more than the original Beatles song. Like I could actually listen to these versions of the songs on a random day, whereas I never will with the originals. I'd say this was a successful film in regard to trying to take classics and make them fresh for a new generation, as I believe this was a large part of the goal of the film - to keep the music alive. The story itself is mostly cute and sometimes funny with some mediocre stuff here and there. This original story had fantastic potential and some was missed, but the ideas still come across. Overall, I suggest you give this movie a try even if it sounds like you would never enjoy it. I thought I would hate it, and I like to put it on now especially on a gloomy day to cheer up the household.

Fun movie, dont look for anything remotely like Trainspotting or 28 days later but if you enjoyed Slum Dog Millionaire you'll love it.
