The topic of this film may be difficult for some to sit through, but Joaquin Phoenix carries this film with his amazing acting. Definitely worth the watch if you are a fan of his.

A brooding and violent and dark movie that I thought was going to have more action, but there is a great story and characters.

I heard good things about this movie, but I did not enjoy it at all.

The movie was a great character study about a broken man. Some of the scenes are left up to the viewers interpretation. While many things happen this is not an action movie so don't go in expecting that. Overall, an intense film that I enjoyed due to the performances.

This is an action movie directed by a very talented director. Pay attention, because not everything is shown to you as it happens. The ending is a little to much, but worth your time.

At an hour and a half, this is a tight thrilling movie. Joaquin is amazing and I am shocked it took me this long to watch it. Really solid film.

This is a stellar film. If you’re a fan of Joaquin Phoenix it’s a must see. It was great and brutal, like a modern retelling of “Taxi Driver” with an extra emphasis on the protaginst’s post traumatic stress disorder

My wife and I were not able to see this movie in our local movie theater and am happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and am looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

My copy from Best Buy arrived without a slip which really upset me considering I ordered 2 days after release date. THAT SAID, I absolutely loved this film, dark, intense and depressing. I loved it!

Interestingly intense, hard to follow at times. Ended unexpectedly.

I absolutely love this movie. One of the best of the year. Wish it had more special features, but an excellent release nonetheless.
