Better than the original cut but still not that impressive.

Movie is good. Not a fan of the picture format. There are black bars on the left and right of screen

The ending is a little bizarre. I can see why Zack Snyder was replaced by the studio

It was to dark trying to make a noir film. I like the first one a lot better.

When I preordered this, best buy's listing clearly listed "digital copy" included. It even says so in the purchase invoice. Best Buy revised the listing just before its release to not mention inclusion of digital copy. So I returned it.

Like many, I was happy to hear the Snyder version was being released, but was disappointed when I watched it. It is overly long, and all the flashbacks ruin the narrative flow. A few of the added parts are good, and add to the overall story, but they the exception.

Very cool design. Movie had some awesome scenes ans enjoyed.

The steelbook was in perfect condition but my disk one doesn't work

Im not a big fan of the film, but this review is based off the steelbook release. The steelbook is jampacked with discs. It looks and feels like it puts too much pressure inside the case and id worry about a disc cracking. The 4k is split over two discs, so youd have to get up and change it out halfway through. The artwork is super unimpressive, especially with all the great steelbook artwork out there (see No Time To Die, La La Land, Dunel. There is only one special feature which is available on YouTube for free and honestly just sounds like Zack Snyder inflating his own ego. Theres no digital code since they want you to buy HBO Max (which is a much better investment)

If you take your superheroes seriously, then this may be for you. This ain't Eugene O Neill and the morose, tortured superhero business didn't deepen the experience for me. Competent, but a slog to sit through.

Returning to store. The HD version does not load. I have an HD bluray player! So frustrating. In addition, bottom of case is broken. Separated from the case jacket.

The price is too high for only the 4K ultra and Blu-ray discs. I was hoping a digital copy would be included, but no digital code is included.
