4k quality is awesome for this movie. Doesn't come with a digital code, but oh well

After years of people saying that this movie doesn't exist, I am thrilled to finally hold it in my hands. I loved this movie when it premiered on HBO Max on 03/18/2021, but I enjoyed it even more on 4K Blu-ray. The version on HBO Max is very compressed, and the improvement in sound and video fidelity is immediately noticeable. Even the 1080P Blu-ray looks and sounds better, but there is a night and day difference between the video and sound quality of the 4K disc and the streaming version. If you love this movie as much as I do, this is the version to own. Regrettably this disc does not include a digital code, and it is actually not available to purchase from any digital retailer, as of the time of this writing. This is likely because the studio wants to keep it exclusively on HBO Max. It is one of the most viewed titles on HBO Max, and they don't seem to want to compete with themselves digitally, for now. Due to the length of the movie, the 4K and 1080P versions both consist of 2 discs each, for a total of 4 discs. Don't let the length of the movie concern you, watching it is like watching Greek Mythology. The story and characters are so immersive that the time flies by! It is one of those experiences that you check the remaining time not because you want it to be over, but because you don't want it to end. The Justice is Grey Edition (B&W) of this movie is not on any of the discs, and is exclusive to HBO Max. The aspect ratio is 4:3 and that is due to some filming with IMAX cameras, and the creative choices of the director Zack Snyder. He prefers tall scenes to wide shots. The audio codec for the 4K and 1080P discs is Dolby Atmos and True HD. HDR 10 is exclusive to the 4K disc. Finally It does come with a slip cover.

This is the ultimate superhero film. It’s rich in DC mythology and features amazing characters. If you’re familiar with the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement, you know what a long road it was to get to this point. But in the end, totally worth the wait. Zack Snyder poured his heart and soul into this film and took the time to tell an amazing story that FINALLY does these characters justice. The action is stellar, the visuals are stunning, and the score is one of the best I’ve ever heard! Do yourself a favor and see this movie! It doesn’t disappoint.

This is an absolute masterpiece. My dad, who doesn't really have a horse in the race or comic book franchises but who generally prefers martial arts and shallow stories, really liked it. It's like watching a mini series. I think the biggest achievement is that it tells a cohesive and satisfying story, even though it'll never be finished.

I had mix feelings about the first version. It felt rushed to me and did not make a good connection eith the characters. This is a puece of art! So many people have not seen this version and it just makes better sense. It makes me go back to the other movies and see and now I love Batmans vs Super Man and the connection that makes this the best super hero movie.

Amazing!!! Nice build up to the first Justice league trilogy. Hoping we get to complete the story. From start to finish, movie was gripping, fun, and takes all characters seriously, flash and cyborg especially get to shine. Feels like a cyborg movie is necessary after ZSJL. Cant wait to see what's next. The trilogy we have so far out of the pentalogy feels very well founded and superman centric, can't wait to see what happens next.

Honestly the best version of this movie, and I bought it as soon as it was available in case the lovely Max decided to remove it from streaming. Even watched the "Justice is Grey" version to test out my new TV purchase

The only bad thing is that they didn’t make this movie longer! 4 hours wasn’t enough, excellent movie from beginning to end.

I just got a 4kplayer for Xmas and I got this dvd with it and let me tell you wow it’s amazing and the best thing is that it’s not just the best picture but also the sound quality is amazing too

Best possible version of the Justice League movie. This is a must have for fans of the original justice league cast. The movie is retold with more action and better graphics than the original theatrical release.

Truly amazing. The best version of this movie mo doubt about it. While it might be long, it definitely adds more needed story and details that the original lacked. Highly recommend it!

I watched this movie some time ago and it was such a better one than the one in theaters. Bought this for a relative who enjoys it more than I do and they were very happy to receive it.

ZSJL is an absolute masterpiece...This film is everything that a DC fan ever dreamed of . Visually stunning and narratively satisfying from start to finish, it is not just best DCEU film of all time but also one of the best superhero film of all time...Joss whedon should be burned alive for butchering this masterpiece and ruining Snyder's vision in 2017..But true fans loves Snyder's epic vision for DCEU that's why they called out for this film in after whedon's disaster..Zack snyder delivered a perfect superhero film here,filled with some of the best visuals ever seen in a movie, eye popping effects, stunning cinematography, eargasmic soundtrack by junkie XL and breathtaking action scenes ZSJL is everything you ever hoped for and even more then it looks initially..This film proved again that Ben affleck and Henry cavill are best Batman and Superman of all time..Jared Leto as joker steals the show, steppenwolf is monster looking warrior from other world who just wants to invade earth for his own personal reasons, darkseid is an evil tyrant lurking in shadows of different side of universe..This film also works as an origin story for cyborg, he is struggling to find his place in the world torn apart between his human and mechanical identity... Batman became a hero again after spending years in rage and hate ,here he is a hero and leader who is honouring Superman after his death via defending this world, the killer vengeful version from BvS is long gone.. wonder woman is helping humanity and continuing her duty to defend the world.. flash is trying to be a hero who wants to help people and still learning about his powers...aquaman is also struggling between his human life and atlantean heritage as a king, and finally heart and soul of DC Superman...In mos we've seen an alien trying to find his place in the world,in BvS we've seen a conflicted hero who is struggling and finding how to be a hero.but in ZSJL we've seen a true Superman who finally became a hero and ultimate protector of earth .An ideal to strive towards...Even side characters like Lois,Martha,Silas,desaad,martian manhunter, joker got small but meaningful part...At last I just want to say this is the movie we've been waiting for our life....If you don't loved this movie don't call yourself as a DC fan....It's time to restore the snyderverse now because without ZACK SNYDER and a complete JUSTICE LEAGUE TRILOGY DCEU is nothing and will fail soon again...Only a full snyderverse on HBO max can save DC now.... Go watch it and get ready for a lifetime experience

Favorite movie- it could be five hours and I would love it just as much. Really wish Snyder had gotten his chance at the sequel he wanted to do.

This is what Justice League should have been. Although the runtime is long, this movie is able to flesh out all of the characters in the Justice League, make the villain (Steppenwolf) more of a threat, and make the superheroes feel like an actual team. The blue-ray has great visual and audio quality.

Zack Snyder's version of Justice League is better than the original version. The upgrade in Video and Audio levels take it to new heights. HDR is amazing on this.

The Snyderverse never looked better. Love this version so much better. I know I’m not the only one. Such a pity we won’t see this to conclusion.

Awesome! The way it should have been released. A must see... and keeper if you like to have the physical format.

Awesome 4k bluray! I was really wishing the ratio format would of been bigger though because it was the same ratio as when you watched on hbo max.
