I'm unhappy about the mark across my ipad screen protector caused by the metal rim that is located above keyboard. There is the metal ridge and then a rubber attached to support the ipad.

this is perfect if u need to write a paper or are writing many emails, connects to your ipad easily thru Bluetooth

Disappointed that there's no backspace key, but, other than that, it's working alright.

it works ok. i just dont like that it is hard to open and close. it doest rest right in the groove

I purchased this folio/keyboard to replace a different brand that I had been using on my IPad 2. Unfortunately, the old case left a corner exposed leading to a cracked screen when the folio was dropped. Although I'll probably have the screen repaired and give the IPad 2 to my daughter, I looked at this as a good excuse to get the new IPad. I also decided to replace the folio/keyboard. The Zagg folio/keyboard is excellent. The fit is fantastic and accommodates all of the openings on the new Ipad perfectly. It also completed covers all of the corners of the IPad and hopefully will provide better protection against breakage than my last case. The keyboard is fantastic. The keys have excellent separation and provide the best typing experience I've ever had with the IPad. The Bluetooth is very fast and I have not found any lag time between hitting the keys and the letters showing up on the screen. The stand is excellent and allows the IPad to remain very sturdy while using far less space than my old folio/keyboard. The auto-off feature works perfectly for my new IPad. Also, when you close the folio it snaps shut very solidly and in the gap between the keyboard and the screen it is very clear that the keys are not pressing up against the screen when the case is closed. So I'm not seeing any risk of the keyboard damaging the screen. So far, I am very happy with this purchase.

It's a nice case with one flaw. I'ts cumbersome to open. Once open it performs well.

I was expecting to keep it for along time. I take good care of my electronics, but the material on the outside of the case is not good quality and it has already been tearing.

Tried this keyboard based on Zagg product quality name. While quality was good it was hard to get connected through bluetooth. I then found that after closing session and trying to re-open after a couple of hours, connection would fail and i would have to turn bluetooth off on both devices and start over again. Found I had to do this everytime. Research on Internet revealed to be a common problem. This was the third keyboard I had tried with the same problem or similar problems, so I returned it and bought the real-deal Apple wireless keyboard. Saved $30 and works perfectly. I am completely satisfied with it.

I personally was looking for something very light to compliment my Ipad. Not having a very light Ipad and a heavy folio & case. Returned it the day after receiving it.

My main criteria in picking a case/keyboard combo for the new iPad was having a device that I could type on for long periods of time. I'm a writer, and prefer just bringing my iPad on business travel, but I can't use the on-screen keyboard for any kind of lengthy writing. After trying out various options I settled on the ZAGG Folio, and I'm glad I did. The keyboard is roomy and responsive enough to use for long periods with minimal fatigue. A full-size keyboard is still better, of course, but the portability of this unit wins out. About the only downside is the bulk this adds to the thin, gorgeous iPad, but it's very easy to remove the tablet from the sleeve and just use it that way if you want. I have a friend with an older model, in which the keyboard is branded Logitech. It seems to be the same design and build, so maybe Logitech makes this component for ZAGG and they simply brand it with the latter name now. In any case, it's still a great keyboard. The ZAGG website carries a lot more variety in case and keyboard color options than I found in local Best Buy stores. I have a white iPad, and ended up setting for a black case with black keyboard. Fortunately, a friend of mine with a black iPad bought a black case with a white keyboard, so we swapped keyboards and are both happy. All in all, I recommend this option to anyone for whom doing longer-form writing on the iPad is the primary purchase criteria.

I love the new iPad, but I sometimes find it tedious pecking and typing on the screen. The Zagg completely saved me!! Easy to install and stays charged forever. While it is true, you have to adjust the iPad to plug in the Zagg charger...I did not find it that inconvenient. It is really user friendly and makes the iPad a joy to use at home as well as the road. Deserves kudos for its award winning design. At $99.00 it's a steal! It does add a little weight but it is sturdy. Get one...you will love it. P.S. I am a crew member and love Zagg for use on the plane.

I had hoped this would be the perfect accessory for my Ipad. Unfortunately on the unit I purchased, there were a few keys that stuck when depressed. When they did not stick there was an annoying lag between when I typed and when the characters actually showed up. I returned mine rather than trying a replacement.

The case was awkward to handle. Made it quite difficult to use in the vertical position.

After researching all options, this case came out as a clear winner in my mind. The full protection of the iPad is 2nd to none, and the keyboard is very quiet and responsive. It is very easy to remove the iPad for portability, as well as putting it on the case in portrait mode. A small negative about this setup is the case that held the iPad flops around behind the keyboard. Just a small inconvenience. You have to be very careful when closing this case. You need to lift the iPad portion up and over the keyboard or the the iPad will be scratched by the keyboard. Doing this causes the latch to overshoot the catch, and you have to push it back into place. All this is OK once you are used to it. This is the only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars. Awesome product!
