I'm going to use this for school. Combining a stylus and this keyboard, the ipad screen gets touched much less with my dirty fingers and I can do much more for purposes of productiviity. Made my ipad into a mini "laptop". Works smoothly, not clunky or cheap. Cover fits well, it is easy to open and close, and the stand is very well thought out: no need to pull out flaps like others' designs; however, don't drop ipad because not sure if this cover affords any shock absorption. Keys are well spaced, the texture is good, incorporates good commands on top such as cut-paste and volume controls, and the keys are not too noisy. The cover and keyboard only weigh a little over one pound. To play games, I easily, quickly and effortlessly pull the keyboard out of the cover and play a game or two in a jiff. As for negatives, not sure the cover is shock adsorbent, and with any bluetooth product, the user loses apple's on-the-fly word anticipator and spell check. You can spell check later. Zagg keep up the good work. Less expensive than Logitech too.

Really like the keyboard, pretty durable, and the keyboard is great. That said, there is no easy way to use the zagg in portrait mode. The primary way most people use the ipad. And zagg really needs to design a better USB charging port. That said, I returned the zagg and bought a clam case as it allows for portrait use. Still I would highly recommend the Zagg!

This product is my first bluetooth keyboard for the iPad. I was considering the Logitech Ultra-thin keyboard and then I talked to one of the Apple reps at Best Buy and he first recommended the Zagg one instead. I was skeptical at first but then he allowed me to see and try out his Zagg bluetooth keyboard he had on his iPad. I thought that it was nice and that it also cover the back of my new iPad. I gave it 30 days and am still liking the keyboard.

Excellent product. Works well. Looks great and would recommend to anyone with an iPad. It's difficult to open but the more I use it the easier it gets. Very portable and protects the iPad very well. Keyboard charges very well. Could use a USB port.

The case is great and connects effortlessly with my iPad via Bluetooth. The fullsize keyboard makes emails and other text intensive tasks much easier. The convenient folio design provides a sturdy stand for the iPad, however, it makes use without the keyboard and portrait orientation more difficult. The other Zagg/Logitech keyboard is more functional in the for use in the portrait mode. This only comes into play when using an iPhone application that does not have the ability to rotate to a portrait view.

Please do not listen to the others when they say it does not work with the new iPad. I was skeptical about buying it myself but once i did and put the ipad in the case, i was highly satisfied. The only thing it is missing in my opinion is a spot for a stylus and you can't look at your iPad in portrait mode as easily in the case without laying it flat. Other than that it is a great stylish case. It also seems like it would protect your investment if you were to drop it. I just recommend that you make sure you get a screen protector. The new iPad even fits in the case with a zagg screen protector as well. Everyone knows how thick those are. So just trust me and buy it, i don't think you will be disappointed..

This is a great keyboard and case combo! I'm a college student and I use this with my iPad for homework, emails, and projects. Whenever you type using the keyboard, instead of seeing the virtual keyboard on the screen, the virtual keyboard disappears so that it can give you more visibility of what's on the screen! Sometimes it's not sturdy enough to stay on your lap and type on the bus or on the train, but it's not really meant for those environments. The shortcut keys at the top are also very handy! Instead of tapping the screen all the time and waiting for the options to eventually appear on the screen, you have easy access to keys that'll copy, paste, cut, and delete whatever you want to! This is a great buy if you have assignments that you handle with your iPad.

Great case! Provides a "hard shell" to protect ipad and has great keyboard shortcuts (i.e. button that brings ipad screen back to home). Very easy to use. Good design and I like that the keyboard slides out f you do not want to use it while still providing a case for the ipad. Extremely easy to set up and comes with a USB charger so you do not have to buy batteries. I bought another cheap ipad sleeve (<20$) to enclose this in just for extra protection and the combination is great. I just toss it in my purse with no worries.

The ZAGG is a sturdy, rugged case for your iPad that also featres a built in BT keyboard that functions just as yuo would expect. (yes, you can pair it with your phone if you want). The battery life on this thing is fantastic, lasting not just a work day but all week! Just beware that Apple does not really expect you to want to use a keyboard, so the only use for them is inside aps that require you to type. Sorry kids, no scrolling your web pages

After reading excellent reviews, I got the ZaggFolio keyboard case for my new iPad. It lives upto it's reputation of being sleek and complements the new iPad beautifully. The battery in the keyboard is amazing.......I've been using it for over a month and did not have the need to charge the keyboard !!

This is my 3rd Zagg Folio; the first two broke at the hinge. Easy to use, convenient, better than the alternatives. HOWEVER, all three units have had the same problem in that the Bluetooth connection drops after a short period of dis-use, necessitating a *total restart* of the iPad to get things running again. Even the touchscreen keyboard does not come up when the connection is lost. This is a horrible thing to happen in the middle of a business meeting. Occasionally I can remember to power off the keyboard in time, yet still re-booting when I need it takes time.

I bought my Ipad for work use when traveling, etc. and purchased the Zagg Folio case then so I would have protection and remote keypad and stand for work. No question, It works great for my work use of Ipad. However, I quickly learned it is cumbersome when just browsing or surfing on Ipad, so I usually remove Ipad from Folio when browsing, checking emails, etc. Its much easier just to use touch screen then. At least its easy to remove unit from Folio case and then you have best of both worlds.

Just picked this up a few hours ago...Looked great.Inside out with a reasonable quality. Here are my first impressions..Its sturdy looking and slightly on the heavier side.When the case is closed my five year old felt it is a bit heavy for him.Opening latch is little too tight but I expect it to loosen with little more usage.set up is very easy and It sits right in the groove on top of the key board and the keyboard response is great. Now here is the disappointment.The charging port for the key board is buried under the skin and you have to take the key board out if you need to charge it. It is not very easy to separate the key board and ipad from the case. There is no way to operate it in portrait mode. My kid wanted to play temple run which is available in portrait mode only and it is not practical to take ipad out every time you want to operate in portrait mode. If you prefer to read books on your ipad, this is not right for you. You cannot hold it with your 2 hands with the skin completely folded to the back of ipad. Another thing I noticed is the weight of ipad not properly distributed on the and it makes the iPad topple down with slightest of your movement in a sitting position. I am going to return it now and do a little more research before i buy another one.

The battery is awesome. I use this for my grad school, and use the keyboard daily. I've only had to charge the battery 2 times in a year. However, with normal every day use, the outside of the case has begun to peal. I've used glue to hold it together, but not sure how long that will work. I think the craftsmanship should/could be a little more durable. I would recommend it to others.

I have been looking for a keyboard that can protect the front and back and found it here. The ability to slide the keyboard in and out is useful making it lighter if I only want the protective cover. Battery seems to have a great long life and unlike previous keyboards I have had, the shift key is normal size and typing is easy on this device. Also love the special iPad keys. Worth the money. Have seen it on the companies website in different colors and which Best Buy would carry the options.

Keyboard is great for typing emails and blogs. One button Bluetooth connection for keyboard after setup. The case is durable and protects the front and back of iPad along with keyboard protection. Setup is easy. The keyboard case combo adds weight to the iPad and the cost is about $100 which adds to the overpriced cost of the iPad. The case has cutouts for all the iPad buttons and controls. No need for sheet protector with this case. Great convenience and protection for my iPad investment.

This is a great thing for traveling. Protects the iPad. Facetime is so easy because the iPad stays at a good angle, whether it is horizontal or vertical. I have not used the bluetooth feature yet. It is not very bulky so I can still carry it in my hand bag.

The case keeps my iPad safe from from cracking. My son has dropped it once or twice and my iPad has survived. I use my iPad more than my iMac now that I have a keyboard and the stand holds the iPad at the perfect angle.

I absolutely love the keyboard! It is much easier to type on the keyboard then it is using the iPad screen! It protects the iPad great also!

This is a nifty item to use. The keyboard is like a book with the ipad inserted in one side. When you open the keyboard, the ipad sits in a slot that holds the ipad in place. Perfect for in the car, on the go etc. Easy to set up and use. A definite plus for the ipad.
