I do a lot of writing and need my iPad Mini 4 for my work to function as a mini-laptop. This item not only protects the iPad but turns it into a mini-computer. It feels solid, looks attractive, and is easy to use. Here's the caveats and solutions: 1. Don't forget to register your product, especially if there's a defect. It makes it easier to get a replacement under the 1 year warranty. 2. After 3 months, two of the keys, T and Y, would either work or not work unpredictably. Zagg, however, stood by its product, found my registration, and sent out a new one, postage free. They also provided the means to mail back the old one for free. 3. It does not have backlit keys. That's a small inconvenience compared to how I use the folio for typing, which is during the daytime or with a lamp on. 4. If you are reading, it's a bit cumbersome at first, but no sweat. I want to protect this expensive but fantastic iPad. 5. I put a screen guard on the iPad for extra protection of the screen. An inexpensive one will do. 5. The folio is sold at a great price.

I have tried a few different keyboards for my iPad Mini and this one appears to beat the other ones hands down so far. Pros: Standard keyboard layout Adjustable angle similar to a laptop Good key travel Good protection all around Cons: Not backlit Little heavy, doubles the weight of the iPad Mini

I've only had it a few days now, but I like it so far. iPad snaps in for a perfect fit. Keyboard links up through Bluetooth quickly. Keyboard has keys for a home button, volume control, & even a SIRI button! Battery life supposedly lasts a REALLY long time, but I'll find that out in the future!

My wife and son both have had a Zagg keyboard case on their iPads for over 3 years; it both protects the iPad and adds a convenient keyboard. We bought one for our daughter to complement her iPad mini. She loves the color combination of the orchid/gray Zagg and the white border around the iPad screen.

This is an extremely handy item to use with the newest iPad mini 4. As the physician who has adopted an electronic health record, I may switch from my MacBook air to use this combined keyboard and iPad, as I am learning how to type efficiently and use the touchscreen. This is a very reliable keyboard although some persons will have a hard time because of how close the keys are. This is not a problem for me. I believe that the keys do not damage the screen, but I have added a screen protector. I rarely have to take the iPad out of the keyboard combination. I can do my crossword puzzle's, type my notes as well as other writings, and explore the Internet without any awkwardness. This keyboard it is a great improvement over my previous one. Please note that the keys do not light up, though that is not a feature I need. I also like on the other hand, that I can press one key to ask Siri for help.

I love it it holds my iPad and I enjoy having it to hold it from getting broken

This case / keyboard combo really does a good job of providing protection for the iPad mini and giving you a decent keyboard that makes taking notes or writing a breeze. It's fairly lightweight so easy to carry and leave on even when you aren't looking to use it.

This is a fantastic keyboard!! It protects my iPand Mini from any damage as well as the keyboard being fully functional as a standard computer keyboard but made for the iPad. Charge times are short and it lasts a very long time between charges.

Great sturdy case. The keyboard is exactly what I was looking for. This is my second keyboard case. I used the first one so much I wore out the hinge on one side. Will continue to purchase this case. Highly recommend if you have an ipad!

Works well. Still getting used to working a keyboard for text and touch screen for pointing/selecting, but the case makes the tablet into a nice little laptop with all the benefits of an iPad. It's still quite managable for use in landscape or portrait mode. Good solid protective case. The case was on sale, so the purchase was a good value, too.

Sturdy and very well built case. The keypad is also very good.

This case really is wonderful for what it sets out to accomplish. The battery life is strong, the pairing simple, the overall use robust. I just wish it was slightly less difficult to remove the tablet from the case when needed.

So far I am very happy with this ipad keyboard case. The keyboard has been working good and it was really easy to set up. The material is sturdy and has protected my ipad really well. Love the purple color.

My son wanted a keyboard for his iPad. We were planning on just buying a wireless keyboard but found the Zagg keyboard case. It's great quality and protects his iPad, essentially turning it into a mini laptop.

This Zagg folio is great for protection - already dropped this iPad at least once and the case protected it completely. Having the ability to use the keyboard to respond to emails and texts is perfect!

I really do like the touch and responsiveness of this keyboard better than I did the keyboard I had on my first ipad. It is closer to the feel of a full sized keyboard, and the charge holds for a long time.

I WAS LOOKING TO UPGRADE FROM MY PDA, I LIKED MY WIFE'S IPAD BUT I DIDN'T WANT THE FULL SIZE VERSION, SO I GOT THE IPAD MINI 4 AND THE TARGUS FOLDING KEYBOARD. I DID NOT LIKE THAT KEYBOARD BECAUSE THE KEYS WERE SMALL AND A MAGNETIC STRIP WAS TO KEEP THE IPAD PROPPED UP FOR VIEWING(IT WORKS FOR A HARD SURFACE NOT ON YOUR LAP). THE ZAGG FOLIO CASE TURNS YOUR IPAD MINI INTO A MINI LAPTOP. ALSO THE ZAGG FOLIO CASE PROTECTS THE IPAD MORE THAN THE TARGUS DOES

This is my second one of these to purchase. I will always have one on my iPad or tablet, not only for the keyboard, but it’s protection for when I drop it. Great product!
