I have purchased two of these in the last 6 months and even a small hairline crack (which happens easily) makes clear images impossible. You can likely just rely on your overall camera case to protect the camera lenses provided something doesn't hit the lense itself.

After installing the protector, there were small bubbles underneath. They were so tiny i could have lived with them but some were in front of the Lidar lens and it made a huge difference in the picture quality. You pay $200 more for the Pro for the better camera and the Lidar lens is mostly what makes the difference.

My old phone didn’t have a camera cover and I dropped it in a gravel lot and it landed right on the camera lens and cracked it so this was a must for my new phone. This cover fits perfectly with the case and you can’t tell it’s not part of the case.
