Protective and allows fingerprint reading. Odly enough the screen protecter goes almost to the edges mucb closer than other brands so less dust and debris get stuck on your screen

When I buy a smartphone, I buy the top of the line, and when it comes to the screen protector, my OCD tells me I also have to have the best. I've used Zag before, with mixed results but generally it's been favorable. This one on the other hand, has been horrible. Let's start with the pros, there's only one, it feels decent under the fingers, it mimics the glass surface texture well and I'm sure it will protect your device well. The cons: This plastic screen protector is not as clear as it should be, there's a definitive difference with and without it, you lose a lot of clarity with this protector. It is also a absolute MAGNET for fingerprints, I've never had a screen protector soak up so much fingerprints even when my fingers are washed in dawn dish soap and cleaner than casino security. The fitment is also sub par, installing it with their guide has it offset to the right side of the phone enough to catch your finger on a back swipe from the left of the phone. And finally? This screen protector was the most difficult to install I've ever had, it had so many bubbles that I'm almost willing to peel it off as I type this review. It separated from it's plastic mounting sheet prematurely. Leading to a horrible installation I was barely able to salvage. I'm extremely disappointed in zag, I've had positive results for years with them. But sadly, this product is extremely sub par. Maybe I received a dub from the batch, I'm not sure. But this product will be off of my phone as soon as I am able to acquire a replacement protector, if not out of frustration by the end of the day. At least my fingerprint still reads.
