    Great Screen / Great Protection

Well worth the price with excellent clarity and fit. There are even cut-outs for the speakers. No loss of touch or pen sensitivity. Recommend the "Hinged / Bathroom" application for exact positioning and to prevent trapping dust particles between the Shield and the Surface Pro 3 screen. Here's how: Recommend wearing latex gloves to prevent finger prints. Before removing any protective film from the Shield align it over the Surface. Apply strips of scotch tape along the top edge portion of Shield (this is the non adhesive side that does not touch the Surface screen). Create a "hinge" by wrapping the tape over and under the Surface Pro 3. You will be able to fold the Shield into place later to complete installation. Steam your bathroom by running the shower (hot water only) until you can see mist in the air. Make sure no exhaust fans are running and that the AC or Heat is momentarily turned off (you don't want air coming through the vents that may blow dust particles). Turn off the shower and let the mist settle a bit to take the dust particles out of the air and push pet hair to the floor. With the Shield attached as a hinge to your Surface move into the steamed bathroom. Raise the hinged Shield and use the enclosed cleaning cloth to clean the Surface glass. Gently peel off the protective film attached to the adhesive side. Lay the Shield into place by folding it into position (just like closing the lid on a laptop). Remove any air bubbles by pushing them to the closest edge (recommend using a credit card). After you are satisfied that all air has been removed peel off the outer film. The tape will come off with it. Hopefully you have a perfect installation without dust or pet hair between the Shield and the glass of your Surface Pro 3.

Great idea but very hard to install.

Great idea but to install was impossible for me. After about 10 attempts, I removed and put back in box and I will give it to Goodwill. Also, I found the surface to be no smoother than the Surface Pro-3 screen glass. Bottom-line, good marketing of a bad product. Not recommended...

Issues with installation and no way to replace since the item isnt even available on the Zagg website. Emails to support have been fruitless. Zagg has gone downhill since back in the day.

Great Product, Easy To Apply, Works Perfectly

This is the best screen protector I have ever owned. It is a Zagg and they really are the best, so I didn't mind paying for it even if it was a little more expensive than other brands and more expensive than just a regular InvisibleShield. It is well worth the price, trust me. It was extremely easy to apply, although I have never had a Glass screen protector before, so I watched an instructional video of an installation on YouTube so I'd know how it would behave when placed on the screen. It did exactly what it was supposed to do and I got it on the first try. Doesn't require any application solution--in fact, DO NOT USE ANY!!-- which is great because of the speakers near the top corners of the screen. Speaking of the speakers, the Glass screen protector has very slight indents for the speaker cutouts which also helps you line it up even better. There is an extra millimeter or 2 of unprotected screen around the protector if perfectly centered, but I actually consider that a good thing. It allows you to do the install yourself and gives you some breathing room unlike a screen protector that goes all the way to the edges of the screen. I know it may sound like a drawback to some that it doesn't go all the way flush to the edges of the screen, but we're talking about 1-2 millimeters. And the edges of the Glass protector are rounded for a smooth feel. Overall, this is a FANTASTIC product and anyone with a Surface Pro 3 should get this screen protector. You need to have this and you will not be sorry!! A++++++!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Product is average, but warranty great...

This is the first Zagg protector I've purchased in years. I had moved away from using Zagg, as I found the Invisible Shield line to be very overrated and gummy feeling. Now, this is their Glass protector and it definitely serves its purpose, but for the price, one could probably find a better deal online for a thinner glass protector. As far as stability/strength is concerned, it's not that great. My surface pro 3 had some boot issues, so when it ended up having to be replaced, they obviously had to take the glass protector off. When I brought it to my office, the protector slid off my desk, about 3 feet up, fell onto its side (on carpet) and the edge cracked easily. The only reason I've given it 4 stars, rather than 3, is because Zagg has the great Lifetime warranty. If you have gift cards lying around, not knowing what to do with them, I'd definitely say this is worth it (especially because of the lifetime warranty). But, if the warranty isn't the most important element for you, I'd do some digging online to fine a thinner glass protector that also goes completely edge to edge. This particular protector doesn't really go all the way to the edge (near the frame) of the screen.

Zagg, Spigen, ToughArmor: best products I've tried

i have glass on all my devices, different brands of glass, and i have been very impressed with the Zagg glass. Zagg has had a great product for a long time, and I am glad to finally see a glass product from them. The quality of the glass is important, however ease of application is equally, if not more, important. The application of the Zagg glass was very smooth and comparable in ease to ToughArmor and Spigen. Although I think the quality of Zagg glass is better than ToughArmor, and equal to Spigen, so I would consider Zagg or Spigen for all my future glass purchases.

Best SP3 screen protector out there!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Background: I use my Surface Pro 3 for digital illustration which means I use the surface pen most of the time. When researching for the best screen protector available, I wanted to find one that didn't take away from the pen pressure and would also not scratch and show smudges. Trust me when I say, you won't find a better screen protector. I've always used ZAGG products because of their durability and lifetime guarantee but knew that the other ZAGG selections would not work properly with the surface pen due to the texture and clarity of the plastic versions. So I was relieved to hear that the Glass was available. Some may argue that you don't even need a screen protector for the Surface Pro 3, but I've had my SP3 for a few weeks now and abrasions are already beginning to form. They aren't visible, but you can feel them when using the pen. I strongly suggest getting this installed on Day One. Review: The installation was very simple with no need to apply an adhesive. However, there was an issue with dust attaching to the adhered part of the ZAGG Glass and will not come off. I will be making an exhange for this reason. I would suggest having a professional install if available. (NOTE: Do NOT use ZAGG Foam to wipe the Glass. It leaves residue and streaks.) Overall, this is the best screen protector available for the Surface Pro 3. It may have a high price tag, but with the lifetime guartantee it is well worth the money. There is virtually no difference in pen pressure that I can detect, either. I would recommend this product to anyone buying a Surface Pro 3.

Zagg glass was easy to install and looks great on my Surface Pro 3! Always have loved the Zagg products, but this is the first glass that I purchased and installed. Absolutely love it!

Good for protection, but poor for touch

Very clear and feels quite durable, and it seems to work great with the stylus, but be prepared to lose a significant amount of touch sensitivity. I found I would have to try taps up to three times and using considerably more fingertip pressure than without the guard. It was enough of a loss I returned my Zagg and have decided not to use one at all.

    Good but reduced touchscreen sensitivity..

Picked up from my local Best Buy. I have used Incipio's SP3 glass SP and this is easier to install because of the small margins on edges. However, the touchscreen sensitivity is noticeably reduced when on battery, compared to bare screen. Incipio's SP also suffers from this issue, so it might be caused by the glass material. Stylus glides well on the SP, but can still feel friction. Actually Incipio's one does better job at this. Acceptable but not quite satisfied. Hope they could work out something to solve the touchscreen sensitivity issue. Before that, I would not recommend this to friends based on the performance vs price.

    Mine was defective

Installed easily but after installation noticed that there was a piece of thread under the screen. Seems it was there out of the box but I did not notice. Of course once you try to peel the protector off, it becomes useless, so there was $55 down the drain.
