Good screen protection, bad design
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think this screen protector does add pretty good protection to the screen of the S8, but the adhesive design around the edge of the screen protector is an issue. Being that the SP is case friendly the outer edges that contain the adhesive causes sensitivity issues when pressing buttons on the screen. Buttons near the edge of the screen have to be pressed really hard. Also being that there is only adhesive around the rim of the SP there is a small air gap between the actual phone screen and the SP. This also causes sensitivity touch issues unless you are pressing in the center of the phone screen.

Do not buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.6 days in the screen cracked and is spreading. Never dropped my phone or anything. Just in pocket with keys. Had my old phone and a 5 dollar screen cover for 3 years without any issue and it went through a lot worse. Smudge resistant??? More like smudge attractant. Constantly have to wipe screen of smudges. Precision touch? Constantly have to double tap to type - swiping down takes 2-3 times. Worst. Screen. Protector. Ever.

Wish I had read reviews
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I had taken the time to read these reviews before making my purchase. I had already purchased and discarded a cheaper glass protector I bought online because the adhesive was only on the edge. I specifically asked the salesperson in Best Buy if this one was like that or had adhesive on the whole glass. I was assured it was so I ignorantly paid a TON more for this one only to find it was the exact same. I may try to take it back and hope I can get my money back like others have. Here are my issues: 1. Because the adhesive is only around the edges, the middle of the glass on the screen can float up and cause issues with touch response. You can also sometimes feel the glass protector click against the screen. 2. The adhesive strip is clearly visible as a border around the screen. No longer do you have a beautiful seamless curved display. It is hardly invisible and certainty does not live up to the marketing on the package that you won't know it's there. I was hoping that a more expensive solution from a big store would be better than what I got.

Don't Waste Your Money!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always been a fan of ZAGG, they make amazing screen protectors, all up until I bought this for my Galaxy S8. The installation was easy but as soon as you have it on, you will notice the touch sensitivity is over half gone. This is because of the limited adhesive only being around the edges leaves a thin gap of space between the protector and the screen of the phone. (Mine actually ended up popping off). You have to press very hard to get any sort of response from the screen and forget even trying to drag down the notification bar, the top edge of the protector also gets in the way. For the price you would think it would have better functionality, but it's simply not worth paying $54 for a protector that compromises sensitivity. ZAGG please fix this issue and I will gladly buy a modified one.

Difficult but protective.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this product on for a few weeks, and honestly hated it. Made using the phone very difficult. VERY difficult. Screen completely unresponsive to touch most of the time. To open an app I felt like i had to punch the screen with my finger. I am a paramedic and often need quick stream-less access to my phone (protocols, Calling hospitals/physicians/supervisors/dispatchers, ect) I love the Edge app panel, keep my most important apps/contacts there. With this product I could not access it at all. Recently one day I decided I had enough, was just gonna tear it off after work. But while i was sitting in the cab of my truck, using the mounted computer, my phone slid off my lap. I heard the most awful sound, it had landed screen down on an upward facing bolt and shattered. At least that is what I saw. When I picked it up the screen protector popped off. My phone screen had not even a scratch. The protector completely spider-webbed. Saved my brand new (at the time) phone. But due to its other issues I had decided not to replace it.

weak adhesive and bad screen response
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just picked this up, came home and my new galaxy S8 was waiting for me, yes it was delivered 2 days early. First impression, the adhesive did not take on the corners, it kept popping up. later, while trying to use it, I guess because of the design of ending just below the ear peace, the top system tray, no matter how much I swiped, would not open. So I removed it and will be returning it tomorrow.

Posted .Hey Marty,
Thank you for your feedback. It really helps us to know what issues and questions our customers may have and figure out ways to solve problems and answer questions.
The clear border around the perimeter of the Glass Curve is the adhesive that secures it to your phone. The best way to ensure glass screen protection remains bubble-free on a curved screen phone is to use adhesive only around the border of the phone. Some companies only run adhesive on the top or bottom of their screen protection, but by doing so, they run the risk of letting dust and lint get underneath, not to mention air bubbles that can precision touch commands. That is why we run the adhesive around the entire perimeter to provide you the most complete coverage.
Thank you for your comments, and please keep us on our toes by continuing to communicate with us. Please feel free to call the team at ZAGG with anything at (800) 700-9244

Good for protection, not good for functionality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved how easy this was to install. It came with a frame to pop onto phone with tabs to easily align edges of screen protector for perfect placement. But, what caused me to exchange this was that it hindered functionality of the screen because it's so thick. I couldn't lightly press or swipe on the screen, but instead had to apply serious pressure for the phone to respond. It also had a tiny lip all the way around the edge that didn't fully adhere, and actually made it really easy to pop the entire thing right off.

Screen Protector Falls Off
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this when I purchased my Galaxy S8, as I have never had an issue with Zagg's products before. Two days after I purchased this screen protector it fell off my phone and shattered. Shortly after I requested a replacement, that replacement has now also fallen off my phone, a week after installation, and will need to be replaced.

Not worth the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In hope of trying to protect my brand new phone from scratches I went to the best place I could think of in order to buy the best for my phone, although the gentlemen that did help me was wonderful as can be and did give me discount on the protector I was severely disappointed in the product. The product is not touch sensitive, making it hard to swipe up and down and typing very difficult . When applying it the sticker that protects the screen from being scratched before applying to your phone would not come off resulting me dropping it and the sticky part collecting carpet fibers and such and now it does not stick to the screen perfectly. I would wait for a month or so and see if they improve this product before buying!

Siiigh.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Surprised to see a lot of people had issues with screen sensitivity. Mine is fine with the protector on. My issue is that my FIRST protector started peeling up at the top left corner and eventually started cracking (I'm assuming from gently sliding into my back pocket lol). Cracks spidered and less than a week after I purchased my husband and I's screen protector, I had to use my warranty and get sent a new one for the low price of 9.99 for s/h! Welp, it's been about a month and my new new screen protector has cracked for no apparent reason. I work a nine to five office job and treat my phone with respect. Sooo, siiigh. I've already spent $110 and maybe more soon, and I'm not even sure it's worth it at all.

Worst Zagg Cover EVER
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I but Zagg Shields with every phone before I buy the phone. This was the most I ever paid, $50, and it was an embarrassment! It barely sticks on the phone. U have to tap the screen multiple times each touch, and there is air under the cover. I couple barely tap in the corners. Please pull this Zagg from the shelves and look out for your loyal customers like me. I got the Zagg HD+ for now.

Disappointing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So maybe I don't need the screen because of the gorilla glass but I figured better safe than sorry. The issues I have (I have had it on my phone a total of about an hour now) are that the pressure sensitive functionality is dulled by the glass and it gets in the way when you drag down from the top edge of the screen. Also the glass disrupts the responsiveness of the keys adjacent to the curve. I'll give it a few days more but I think I will end up trying another solution. I would recommend using the phone for a while without a protective cover so you can see the true qualities of the keyboard before covering it with this protector to compare before and after.

Worst product ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have already invested in 3 of these and at this price it should take a crowbar to get this thing off my phone, I should have read the reviews before buying.i am nervous about not having protection on my phone I have already broken 2 screen protectors. At $10 a pop for the warranty claim they are really going to get their money worth out of me. I might as well just smash the Box when it comes to the door Because that is about how long they last. Phone took a slight spill both times and screen protector popped off.

Horrible and nonfunctional
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always buy Invisible Shield products, and have trusted them for years. This screen protector was a definite disappointment. The protector does not adhere to the entire screen. There is a thin (and VERY visible adhesive line that distracts from the phones aesthetic). It peeled off easily and was the only thing holding it on to the phone. Also even when applied to the phone the functionality was aweful. You had to press very hard onto the screen to get it to scroll if you could even get it to scroll at all with the protector on it. Only the bottom buttons seemed to have responded to touch. I thankfully convinced BB to let me return this item as normally they won't when a product comes with a lifetime warranty. I am thankful I got rid of it, definitely a disappointment for the price as well. This is the only time I have had an issue with Zagg products.

Not like Zagg
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always buy the Zagg Glass for my phones and have never had an issue. I bought the glass for my S8 and I had to take it off after an hour. The touch sensitivity was affected so bad that I could no longer deal with it. The other problem was that the top edge of the glass does not allow you to pull down the notifications bar. However, just like Zagg, they are going to work with me to resolve the issue. I called them and they are aware of some issues and are going to send me a replacement. Zagg is a great company so try giving them a call before losing all hope. Zagg website shows they don't have the glass in stock, maybe they cleared inventory and are working on an updated glass???

DO NOT BUY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was one of 3 screen protectors available at BB for a S8. It seemed to be the strongest/durable of the 3. I paid so much money for something that does not even work! It smudges like crazy not to mention it does not cover the curved section of the screen fully. It makes it harder to use the phone because it interferes with the touch screen. I placed it on my S8 this morning and I hate that it is making me hate using my phone. I hate this product so much I dug through the trash to get back the return label. It was a complete waste of money. The screen protector that came with the phone is so much better.

Dulls the screen responsiveness
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used Zagg Glass products since they came out. I put this one on my new phone, no problem, and was immediately turned off by the halo appearance of the adhesive around the edges. After using my phone with the screen on, it got even worse as I realized that many of the icons and letters had little to no response to touch. At first, I thought the shield was defective, so I had it replaced and installed for me. But that's when I found out they don't have a full adhesive layer, just the edges. What a disappointing design. Typing becomes a chore, I would almost rather call someone than text... Going to return for a regular shield and see how that goes.

good screen protector with flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not sure why other people are having screen response issues. My screen works just fine no issues at all. The glass is very nice, I really like that it does a good job of keeping fingerprints off. Not sure how durable it is because I haven't dropped it yet but considering it's lifetime warranty, I'm not too worried about that. The bad thing about this is that you definitely see the glue line on around the edge of the glass. And it kinda collects lint from your pocket, not tons of it but enough that you can see it. That would normally be a big problem for me, because I don't want anything on the screen that would distract it from its original look, but after one day of owning it, I accidentally dropped it and caused a small crack in the back. It was only a 1.5 feet drop on ceramic flooring and the glass could not even handle that. So now I would rather protect the front glass than risk it breaking from a drop.

Already broken 2nd cover
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've had my new phone and this curved glass cover on my s8 plus for less than a month. The first screen cracked in my pocket on the outer edges which seems to be a very weak spot. I then dropped it from less than 3 feet and the screen protector just splintered. The spot I dropped it on hit a small juttong rock and now the pixels in the corner of my phone are not working. I returned the screen protector using their online service and the one I received again cracked in a different corner this time. I just dropped my phone again at around 4 feet and the adhesive didn't stick onto the screen well at all and the protector came off. When it came off of my phone the screen protector cracked again in a different corner! This product has by far been a huge disappointment not just at key sensitivity but at it's core function of protecting my screen. I wouldn't even recommend this product to someone I hate as it's that useless.
