    Greatly reduces touch sensitivity

It's great when it comes to being clear and seeing your screen, but the touch sensitivity is reduced to the point where the functions of the phone are almost unusable. Typing is almost impossible, apps or functions have to be pressed down hard to register, and the edge and notification bar at the top is almost unresponsive completely. Fiance bought the same one, both have the same issue on the S8 and we did the Geek Squad install so it's on very well. Do not buy, this might be their worse product released.

i have been using ZAGG products on all my devices since the first Ipod touch sometime in 2008, and they have been grate to me me. but this product is just bad. i had it installed by the Bestbuy members, the install is pretty straight forward. using the product i noticed that the touch sensitivity has decreased so much it makes my phone a pain in the rear to use. and the protector collects dirt and fingerprints like a seasoned FBI agent, and they simply dont wipe off like the other products i have used or the natural screen itself. good luck trying to use edge features, or the keyboard, open apps, or make an emergency call's if needed. i wish i would have read reviews first...C'mon ZAGG test your products before mass production.

Worst screen I ever puchased. The screen messed up my phone since I had to press it really hard in order for it to work. I spend 50 bucks on this trash and it doesn't work and know I have to get a new phone.

    Great Protection...Terrible Performance

I've had the Zagg Invisible Shield for all my previous phones which is why I didn't even think about reading reviews before handing over $50 for the S8 version. I wish I would have. The install was much easier than any I've had in the past with the provided plastic guide but as soon as it was on, I couldn't use the notification pull down from the top and had to press multiple times on the screen, with harder pressure, to get any response. I'll be returning for sure.

Did Zagg do any testing of this at all!? Let me start with I had this professionally installed! And It won't stay on the screen! From the start the corners would not stay down. The glue strips? Well you can see them, they collect lint, they don't stay stuck. They just suck! The glass? It has big time glare because it's not attached to the screen. You can see all these dots in the glass. It just ruins the beauty of the 4k screen! It feels flimsy and cheap! It makes pull down, up, and pull from the sides very hard! Touch sensitivity is not as good now! Its ugly and all for 50 bucks! No thanks this is going back!

I bought two phones in Best Buy: Note 8 for wife, galaxy s8+ for myself. Purchased 2 glass screen protectors.... Install went GREAT .. quality is terrible. On the note 8 it just peeled off.. the S8+, its peeling @ edges & lifting like the note 8 did. Lifetime warranty..a Jokje. You must pay for the shipping to you(Min $6.00 & up) plus PAY to ship defective part back... ILL NEVER buy this again.. after using screen protectors past 15 years Im done with overpriced pieces of garbage... Need to better design a item before retail sale.. all I can say... STAY away .........

    Very Sad Product!

I had high expectations from ZAGG; but they have produced an extremely inferior product. They obviously did not debug it before they released it to the consumer. After putting the protector on my phone (it went on perfectly with zero air bubbles or dust), I find that I have to bang my fingers on the phone to get a response. I also have to exert a lot of pressure in order to scroll or swipe. It causes me to make a lot of typing errors and the product just simply creates frustration. I have removed it. It is just simply not useful. Very disappointed!

    DO NOT BUY

I had a GS6 and always had a Zagg screen protector for the phone and loved it. When I got my GS8 there was no question what screen protector I would buy for it. However since putting it on the touch screen is almost inoperable. Trying to text is painful and slow because I have to press so hard on the screen to get any letter. The swipe down function to get to common setting options is not possible at all. DO NOT BUY THIS....I am going to attempt to return it for a full refund including the 8 bucks I spent to have the store employee install it.

So why dont they do something about this. At least give me my money back. Junk stuff. I mean do they really think that its gonna stay on if they just put adheasive on the edges. Come on people!! You pay all that money to get something nice and get junk!

    Good Protection, But......

I've used the tempered glass on my Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S7. The tempered glass saved my husband's iPhone 6 Plus when he dropped it on the edge of a desk. It offers great protection. On the Galaxy S8, however, it seems thicker and the curved edge makes it hard to use anything on the edge. I like to do crosswords on my phone, but it's hard when the letters appear on the edge. I'm hoping ZAGG will come out with a version that is not so thick. I may go back to the HD plastic.

High priced for such POOR QUALITY

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I bought this product the day I purchased my Galaxy S8. The instructions were simple and I was able to successfully place the Invisible Shield over my screen. I made sure there were no air bubbles and that the edge of the glass was secure. I also let my phone sit for a while to ensure I didn't accidentally shift the glass. I have various issues with this product: 1. The glass does not completely stretch edge-to-edge, so it makes it difficult to use the edge feature offered by the S8. 2. The thickness of the glass and the fact that it does not stretch edge-to-edge takes away from the aesthetics of the phone. It appears as though there is a white border around the screen. 3. After placing the Glass Curve over my phone screen, it significantly diminished the responsiveness of my touch screen. I have to tap the screen three or four times before my phone performs the function. Not to mention, it's made texting incredibly difficult, even with the assistance of swipe and autocorrect. 4. The glass smudges terribly. I'm constantly wiping it, far more than I did without the Glass Curve. I have friends who swear by this product so I really wanted to love it but I am incredibly disappointed. I should note that my friends are iPhone users. I'll have to remove it in order to use my phone the way I'd like. That's fifty bucks wasted.

    Zagg - Strikes out!

I have had this for two days now and learning to hate it. The looks of it is not bad and fits the GS8 well. The reason this is a strike out king is that it removes the touch screen sensitivity of the GS8. I as thinking it was the phone all the first night, how wrong I was. With the sensitivity maxed out still dose not work. You kind of have to force each touch for the phone to respond. I will be returning it and looking for something else.

This is by far the worst screen protector I have ever bought from Zagg. I have always used the products in the past and this one does not meet their standards. The adhesive is only around the edges. It causes a terrible gap between the screen and the protector which makes the touch function horrible. You have to press down extremely hard to swipe and click. Also using the top dropdown menu is a pain and wont work most of the time.

As it stands, I would not recommend this product to anyone. With the same stated complaints as stated in other reviews (bad touch sensitivity, nearly impossible to use screen keys near the edge, and severe interference with the top pull down menu) I will keep this review at that, as it is sooo frustrating to even type this. 2 screen protectors = $100 thrwn away. SO DISAPPOINTED! For $50 each I expected a quality product.

I've used this product for my galaxy 6 and it was great. Now got it for my galaxy s8 and it is horrible. The screen does not stay on the phone. You loss the touch sensitivity especially the closer you get to the side. Finally its nearly impossible to drag down the screen to see your notifications. This is a complete waste of money. To add insult to injury best buy will not let you return it once the box is open.

This screen protector is like any of the others, easy to apply and very clear. The bad thing is that mine cracked after short drop. When I went to get it replaced they wanted $9.99 for shipping and they also required that I ship them back the broken one. I went to Amazon and purchased a different brand for $12.99 that came with 2 protectors. Much easier that dealing with the Zagg warranty.
