It is staying in place and protecting my phone, which is what I need, but not the best if you want it to remain clear. It seems the top edge is not completely attached, allowing the dust to get in Benefits outweigh this so I have kept it on and would recommend maybe as choice 2

Decided Not To Use

Found out that some complained that the touch screen lost some sensitivity unless it was increased before installation of protector. Some still had trouble. I already have trouble (operator errors) and did not want to chance any other problems, so returned item. Note that I have always protected my electronics screens with Zagg, just not this time. Plan to check and see what else they offer for the S9. Others have loved it.
