You truly cannot see what is on the screen once you are at an angle of 50˚ or more. My girlfriend discusses the "polarized effect" and at times complains that the display looks like there are "rainbow spectrums" across it. I never have noticed this but she said it gives her migraine if she stares at it too long. After two weeks with it, she has gotten used to it.
