Easy to apply especially with the extra tools provided to ensure perfect application. Although the only negative comment I have is that the illustration showing how to apply the protector showed the pull tab at the top of the phone, but my protector had the tab attached to the bottom (a detail that I overlooked), so I ended up applying it upside down. I was able to remove it, clean it off with the provided dust-removal sticker and reapply with no issue.

The shield keeps the smears off my phone and protects my iPhone. I really like it and but the 8 .00 to put it on is a little steep.
