Just not taking any chances like I did with my iPhone 11 Pro which ended up with a number of tiny scratches (because I didn't have one of these on it). Like I said in my review for the iPhone 11 Pro version, these smudge more so than the main screen itself and it's harder to wipe clean.

You never realize the importance of of protection until you need it. I’ve had to replace several screens over my cell phone lifetime because the phone fell and broke. But THIS TIME, the phone fell and the protector saved the screen from cracking!!! Now I HIGHLY recommend using screen protectors!

I’ve had two others on my phone and neither would fully lay flat. I watched as the guy installed it and just dropped it on and it slowly just sealed to the screen. He didn’t even need to smooth it out. It was so impressive after the two others that wouldn’t work right.

Good but Expensive Screen Protector

I was in a rush when applying it so I did it "wrong," but it still went on evenly with no bubbles. Not sure if I got lucky or good design. Couple days ago my phone fell a couple feet and landed on the screen a couple days ago and thanks to this and my case (which is really beat up so more credit to this protector) my phone is fine.

However Best Buy gives the unlimited reolacemnets which is a done deal. So for that reason I definitely recommend this screen as you can always get a new one. My phone has dropped several times and nothing ever happened to my iPhone screen so it definitely protects the iPhone screen.
