Accidently dropped my i pad and the shield protected the screen from breaking. Immediately had a new shield attached. Best Buy really helped me! Most definitely recommend a shield. Worth the money.

There is a slight difference in the weight but nothing that is noticeable to the point it bothers me when I’m holding on to it. Considering how much screen replacement would cost on this particular iPad, it was well worth it to grab this. Didn't quite get all the bubbles out on application, but it was probably because I was in a hurry.
