We purchased this because my existing protector was cracked. We initially did not like the dark border, but decided to try it since it added extra protection. However we ended up loving it as it gave a nice border while watching videos on our phone.

I have used a Zagg on my previous phone and I did have to send it back as it did crack after i dropped my phone. The cover did protect the phone glass and Zagg did send me a new cover to replace the broken one so they do stand by there guarantee
