I have been using Zagg shield for years. It has saved me a lot. The clarity is so good yo don’t even know it’s there. There is nothing worse then getting a scratched up screen. I use these on my whole family’s iPhones and iPads. It’s worth a lot more when you go to trade it in.

I'd done my research before buying a screen protector for my iPad. I found that there was hit and miss information on if the Apple Pencil still works and if Face ID still works and unfortunately for Zagg this product goes down as a huge failure with those specs in mind. My Face ID no longer works if I keep the Zagg on. I have reset it many times, I have tried using it in different lighting variables when opening my iPad as before without the Zagg I could literally be in almost pitch black and it would unlock and now even in bright fully lit areas it won't even work. The Apple Pencil responses at best 25% of the time, which I was okay with because I don't use it much but for someone who does use their Apple Pencil a lot, that's not acceptable. The only reason I actually went with this purchase after finding so much hit and miss information was someone's review on here where I believe it's a Zagg company representative said they had changed the design so that it doesn't cover the cameras/sensors which is not true. The Zagg I received still covers 3 out of the 5 camera/sensors on the top of the iPad. Still undecided if I will keep the Zagg or return it because I'd rather have a fully working iPad and just be extra careful vs. an overpriced generic iPad with a screen protector. Also for those wondering, I've been professionally trained on installing Zagg Shields by both Apple, Best Buy and Zagg so it's not a simple incorrect installation and my iPad is basically brand new and has had no damage.

I've used Zagg screen protectors on tablets and phones for years and never had a problem. Once I installed this one on my IPad, face recognition stopped working. Zagg's instructions say to reset face recognition so I did that but I still get a message saying that the camera is blocked.
