It almost disappears but it still provides the needed protection. It does not add extra bulk, and that is great since the iPhone 12 Pro Max is already quite a handfull... or pocket full... I am quite pleased with this case and look forward to many years of service from it.

I would not purchase another screen protector. The warranty registration is quick and easy and it’s even easier to get a replacement when it chips, cracks or whatever may happen! Installation was easy. After a thorough cleaning with the include supplies I applied the screen protector with zero bubbles or dust specs. Very happy!
