I am not completely certain about that second benefit, but I thought I would give it a try since my 2 year old often gets a hold of my phone and plays with it without my knowing it. It is definitely easy to install. I dropped it couple times, and it hasn't been damaged at all.

I hope it holds up like it says. It is nice and very clear and touch screen is perfect. A little pricey but if it lasts it will be worth it.
