I paid a few dollars extra to have it installed by one of the BestBuy "experts". It seems to function well and has not scratched since I've owned it (about two months). It just doesn't fit the face of my iPhone well. It adds a second, slightly terraced bevel. This looks pretty funky to me. It's better than nothing for protection.

It has been in place for 1 month and the edges are chipped and there are two hairline cracks already. I registered the product so I can utilize the warranty but with the reviews I read and the price I felt confident it would last longer than 30 days. The plus, it's doing it's job!
