I then realized the only place that was sticking to my phone was about an 1/8th inch on the top and bottom. How can I trust this to prevent my phone from cracking if it won't even stay on in my pocket? Nope.

Not a good screen protector

They have adhesive around the edges only. If one of the edges fail, you have a lot of dirt and the screen protector is useless. I have found a screen protector that does fully adhere to the phone from a company called BARE.
