This glass screen was a suggestion by the Best Buy employee who was helping me with my purchase. She installed it for me and I registered with Zagg as soon as I got home. So far I haven't had any cracks on the glass screen but I also have not dropped it yet so I can't say for sure that it will protect the iPad Pro; however, since the product needs to be registered with the company I feel that my warranty will be honored should the glass screen break.

I used to be the person with all of my tablets, phones, etc., to not use a screen protector. Humble pie, I jumped ship after spending a few $100's worth of repairs to screens. That being said, I used two other brands pre-this and bought sucked as far as sensitivity, picking up on your typing and usage. Have had ZERO issues with this product and wound up purchasing for my other work tablet and phone as well.

Just like your phone you Have to buy everything to protect it cuz the minute you don't is when you'll have an accident.. personally I think all this stuff should be included considering the price of the iPad and iPhones

Good for someone who is clumsy or not careful with their electronic devices. Also good for children. For those careful with their electronic devices, there are alternatives that do not reduce the touch screen sensitivity but also do not provide the same protection to the screen itself.
