We ended up replacing with a glass one

He installed them and may not have done it right, but he's 15 and pretty technically savvy so I'd be surprised if user error was the only problem. They also seemed to scratch easily. Shortly after getting these we removed them and replaced with a tempered glass protector. I guess that broke shortly after he got it, too, so maybe my son is just hard on phones?

I cracked the screen fairly soon after purchasing it so I was disappointed - but happy that my screen isn’t broken. And I’m using the shield with the crack and I’m not getting little glass bits in my finger! I tried to use an iPhone with a cracked screen and ended up with shards of glass in my fingers. Not with this screen!

You can install it yourself or pay a few bucks and have a pro do it at the store. It will be worth if especially considering how much it is to replace a shattered phone screen.
