Easy to clean. Protects the screen well. Only issue I had with it is the micro bubbles that former. They claim in the instructions that they will work themselves out in a few days. Still have a few, but they are on the edges so it doesn't effect the screen itself

After paying $600 for a new iPad I wanted to get something great to protect it I was kind of iffy on buying it because of the really high price. But the Best Buy associate assured me that this was the best one out at the time and it really looks like glass and doesn't take away from the retina display I paid the extra to have them install it and it looks perfect no bubbles and it really does look like glass and doesn't take away from the iPad it all you would never know it's on there and less you looked really closely I would recommend this product it is a great guy but I do not like they really high price for just a sheet of plastic. I've had multiple invisible shields for all my phones and they're a little difficult to install so if you don't want any bubbles or anything to go wrong pay the extra to have geek squad install it they did it flawless and I couldn't be happier I could not of done it that well myself after paying that much for it I don't want to mess it up and it does have a lifetime warranty.

Very Durable Screen Protector

I purchased my iPad to be used as a portable cash register for my garden nursery. I knew I had to protect the screen or it would be just trashed from the dirt and grime. I purchased the screen protector at the same time I bought the iPad. After reading the difficulties others had with installing there protectors, I unwrapped my new iPad without even touching the screen and installed the protector per the instruction. That way there wouldn't be any contaminants on the screen. I was able to line it up easily and carefully get all the air bubbles out. Left it overnight. It is so very clear, you don't even notice it is on the screen! It isn't even noticeable scratched from the daily abuse it receives in the nursery! I have used it for roughly seven months at the nursery without a single complaint! It is truly the best screen protector available!!!!!

When you select a screen protector, you have a choice to make – “gloss” or “matt” finish. If you select a matt finish, you won’t have as many fingerprints, but you’ll have some pixilation/distortion of the beautiful HD screen. If you select a gloss finish protector – like the ZAGG Invisible Shield – you’ll have crystal clear viewing, but you’ll have to wipe off fingerprints. The ZAGG screen protector is no worse than other screen protectors for collecting fingerprints, but if having to wipe fingerprints off your screen every once in a while is going to make you crazy, don’t buy this product. For me, I don’t mind cleaning off my screen, and I am rewarded with an exceptionally clear picture.
Seriously, how much can you write about a screen protector? The ZAGG protects the screen, and I’m completely happy with it.
I had my ZAGG screen protector professionally installed at Best Buy, because I wanted it done right the first time. This screen protector requires the installer to spray a fluid onto the screen, and once it’s in place, you aren’t going to have an easy time repositioning or re-installing it. When I got the iPad home and opened the box, I noticed a bunch of small bubbles in the screen – exactly what I DIDN’T want, and why I paid to have it installed. The folks at Best Buy told me that would happen, and that the bubbles would disappear in a day or so. Well, in a day or so, those bubble WERE completely gone – just as the installer said they would be – and I couldn’t be happier with both the product and the installation.
Without question, adding a screen protector to your touchscreen electronic gear MUST be your first accessory. Open the iPad box and before you do anything else, add a screen protector. I not only recommend the ZAGG Invisible Shield, but installation services at Best Buy as well.

This screen protector does a good job of keeping my screen free of scratches while still letting me enjoy the full retina display of my ipad. It did take a while for all the bubbles to come out when it was first applied, but i'm sure that was more of how the BestBuy person did it than the product itself.

I have read the reviews on these products and well, if you never used a Zagg product it is different to install. Unlike the cheap peel and stick versions that bubble over in a matter of a week or 2, this product actually sticks to the screen, and if applied properly, without bubbles. I have had Zagg protectors on 6 different phones, and 3 tablets, all with no problems. When I have had issues with it becoming scratched, I went onto Zagg.com requested a replacement, paid the 4-6 dollar fee, had a new one sent to me, and sent the old one back. It is by far the best product out there. Nothing is perfect, there will always be something someone will complain about, but for me, Zagg provides me peace of mind knowing my screen is safe from scratches.

I found this screen protector super easy to install. The spray really help out with that. Very clear, my only issue is that it's a little pricey for a piece of plastic.

I hate these things and cannot understand why Apple doesn't have screen protectors already on the iPads, rather than making the consumer wrestle with trying to apply these. I've used several different types and despite the aggravation, if one takes their time and not rush into thinking it's a quick application then the results are great. I had a friend put it on as he is more patient than myself. Applying it with a solution is better I find that the previous type that is like a sticky side. Within a day the screen dries clear (it's a little hazy right after you put it on). Now I can't tell it is on there and it cleans well also.

I was a little leery of putting this on the ipad as I've had this brand before on an older HTC phone and didn't like it very well. The protector had an orange peel effect and wasn't totally smooth, causing visual and touch movement issues.
Fast forward to this protector. They have lessened the orange peel effect which as done away with any visual impairments, so that is good.
However that slight texture combined with the type of material it is made of isn't condusive to completely smooth touch motions when sliding your finger across the screen. You finger tends to wanna stick a little and not slide all that well.
It does minimize finger prints well though. It also doesn quite fit the exact size of the ipad 4. I dunno if this is intended or a factor of this being a generalized ipad protector for all versions.
I am going to leave it on as it is ok and since it is building up some finger oils into it, it is getting a little less sticky, but if I had to do it again, I'd choose something else.

I like that it looks like glass, got it professionally put on by Best Buy employees and it looks fantastic. I have the other type of zagg shield on my phone and I never quite like the feel. This feels just like touching the screen, no grip on your finger just smooth surface. I highly recommend. Also scratch resistant and lifetime guaranteed I registered mine right away, can't pass up on something like that. I recommend this to everyone who can get an HD screen protector on phones or ipad, etc to get it.

I bought this after purchasing a different screen protector that had a matte finish and made my beautifully glossy ipad screen look terrible! The description is very accurate, it does mimic a glass like surface. I did not follow the included directions when installing this on my ipad however. I was NOT going to chance damaging my day old ipad by getting liquid on my screen! Instead, I made sure my screen was 100% clean and free of lint. Then I started at the bottom and peeled back the protector backing sheet about an inch or so across the entire width. Using the home button to help line it up, I positioned the protector on my ipad. I used the included squeegee and smoothed the protector on little by little using SMALL short strokes. If I noticed a bubble, I peeled the protector back just enough to clear the bubble then tried again. DO NOT peel the backing sheet totally off, instead smooth a small area, clearing any bubbles using the method mentioned above. Once the section of the protector is totally smooth, peel back the protector about 1/2" more and continue smoothing until the whole sheet is applied and the backing is totally peeled off. This worked perfect for me, and yielded better results than most people have reported I believe. I only have a few very tiny bubbles that are in the white border area of my ipad (the white border hides these nicely, and they can only be seen when viewing the screen at an extreme angle - I am hoping over time these will disappear totally). My best advice is to take your time using this method I described. It took me a good 10-15 minutes but it was worth the fantastic result! I hope this helps prevent some frustration and returns!

I recently traded in my Ipad 2 for a 3g one, through Best Buy's Trade in program. I've taken pretty good care of it, so I expected at least $250, because that's just usually the way it works. The geek squad associate took off the shield from my old Ipad 2, and told me i'd be getting $275 for my ipad, the Full allotment allowed, and said it was because the screen was in such good condition. So, it doesnt look as good as it could without the shield on, but it WILL keep your tablet in mint condition, so for that reason I recommend it. I would also recommend letting BEST BUY applicate your new $40 shield, (it's $15+tax) because it seems deceptively simple, but MUCH can go wrong very quickly. Once it's wet, the time frame to apply it to the screen is very small, and if you rush it, it can take a WEEK before the ripples and bubbles work themselves out. As one final caveat, if you get a new tablet and decide to get this item, TAKE YOUR TABLET OUT OF THE BOX AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WORKS. My 1st Ipad 3 wouldn't play audio for any video apps, and I had already bought the Zagg shield and had them put it on, only to find out later that it would have to go back. To best buy's credit, they returned the cost of the shield and charge for putting it on.

Crystal clear, no blemishes, good instructions.
A good installation is the trick. I've used other screen protectors and had bubbles or some form of blemishes. With this one though if you put some effort into the installation it comes out great.
IMPORTANT: wait the recommended 24 hours and you'll see all the seeming bubbles and imperfections go away. Dont be afraid with the spry use it. I thought It was terrible right after I put it on then the next day it was awesome.

Best iPad Screen Protector Available at Best Buy

I'm writing this review primarily as a response to the person who gave this one star. These protectors are definitely not for the impatient when it comes to applying them to the iPad. You have to use plenty the spray solution, making sure to spray some on your hands as well, and use the squeegee tool to smooth out as many big bubbles as possible (I put a lint-free cotton cloth under my iPad when I installed it to soak up any extra water that emerged as I smoothed out the bubbles). Then you have to wait. It takes about a day or two for any of the remaining smaller bubbles to disappear, leaving you with a slick, shiny screen.
I'm using mine on a new iPad (with Retina Display), and the HD version is a noticeable improvement over the standard version of the Invisibleshield. There is still a very, very slight orange peel effect, but you can really only see it when you have the iPad screen off (i.e., the screen is black) and if you're looking at it from an angle. Otherwise, the clarity really is very good. Also, the feel of the HD protector is much smoother than the standard Invisibleshield, making it nicer to the touch when playing games and swiping, etc.
The "self-healing" property of the plastic is one reason I continue to use the Invisibleshield line. If you accidentally ding or mar the surface of the protector, it will usually smooth itself out over the course of a few days. These protectors are also very hard to scratch. I have had several on my various devices, and I've never scratched one yet (though I've never purposely dragged a key across one to see if I could).
Finally, the thing has got a lifetime warranty. If you somehow do destroy it or mar it beyond repair, all you have to do it send it back to Zagg and they'll replace it. This is the last screen protector you'll buy for your device.

We bought the non-HD version first -- tried to apply it, screwed it up. Bought another non-HD, had Geek Squad install it. They screwed it up 3 times, never achieving a satisfactory result. Finally upgraded to HD version, had Geek Squad install it, and finally, a screen protector without lines, marks, bubbles, and gives a great view of the Retina screen. If you buy one, have Geek Squad do it -- while frustrating because they are highly apathetic about the result, you can have them re-do it as many times as it takes at no additional cost.

The screen protector is very durable as the product states. Though I have not used the other Invisible shield this one is pretty clear. It shows off the vibrant retina display. The only downside is the price and the application. It is a long process to put it on the iPad but once on it looks great.

After the craziness my boyfriend went through to get a similar product on his iPad 2 (I have an iPad 3) I was originally not interested even if it did protect my screen. We later learned that for about 10 bucks Best Buy will put it on for you. DO THIS!!!! DO NOT ATTEMPT on your own- it's painful!! Pay the $10 dollars - I promise it will be the best $10 bucks you ever spent. It had a ton a bubbles the first night I bought it home but I was heading for vacation so I thought I would have to head back to Best BUy when I returned but after another 24hrs all the bubbles were gone. It's smooth and keeps my actual screen clean. It's not as nice as some of the other products that actually don't smudge because of this covering. You will def see smudges but just wipe with an electronics cloth ever so often and you will be fine. Did I mention not to put this on by yourself?!? Professionals people use them.

The Zagg InvisibleSHIELD HD screen protector has impressed me. I cant get over the resolution quality! in the past if you want to protect the glass screen of your device you end up sacrificing the beautiful picture quality of the iPad display. Not with this screen protector. And if one of the kids gets a little scratch on the protector, it's no longer noticeable hours later because of the self healing technology from Zagg. Count me a believer! I will never got without a Zagg screen protector again on any of my family's devices.

Zagg - InvisibleSHIELD is the only screen protector I use. The HD is the best screen protector I have ever bought. Once the protector is installed, you will honestly forget it's there.
For me, it was slightly more difficult installing the protector on a tablet than a phone. Thankfully Zagg gives enough solution spray to make minor corrections.
