Zagg advertises the more costly glass screen protector as the highest level of tablet screen protectors. Apparently this glass version screen protector is easier to apply with less air bubbling due to the thickness. The cost to install is the same. The cost difference between the basic screen protector and the glass protector is significant. I don't see much difference between the "feel" of the protector on the tablet surface. Both seem to prevent fingerprint smudges. If you can afford the glass protector version or use points or get it on sale, you may feel more confident with the pricier protector.

Always the first thing I put on a new IPad or IPhone. Have never had as issue with them. They provide a lifetime warranty if you have one break.

This screen protector is great! You can barely tell it is on the screen. It is very clear and does not affect the retina display. Very pleased!

For all of my iPad devices, I have used the Glass protectors when available. Crystal clear and always 100% functional. Works great with the Apple Pencil too.

I purchased this for my new iPas Pro, 12.9”. It has amazing clarity, cleans easily and installed very easily with ZERO air bubbles. I singed one star, because the edges don’t fit correctly under corner edges of the Urban Armor case I purchased. This could have been easily remedied during manufacturing, and is mildly annoying because the corners lift up a tiny bit sometimes and have to be pushed back down. I can’t speak for other cases, but the UAG case is not bulky or oversized, do I would guess you might have similar issues with any case of this style.

I installed this without issue. In face, I placed 3 times getting it exactly where I wanted. The tabs on the protective layer make that easy.

This is the second one I have had. I does what it says it does, it protects the screen. I wouldn't have a tablet with out Zagg's protection.

I had been looking for this protector for weeks and finally they had one. I decided to have the Geek Squad put it on, so it was done correctly. Good idea!

I wanted something that would protect the iPad. And this one fits the bill. I wanted the glass protector also got it at a very good price.

I have the equivalent product on my iPhone 6, and liked it so much I was willing to pay the premium price for the iPad Pro version. I highly recommend it!

This product on my iPad is great. I have a lot of oil in my fingers so I have to constant wipe it off but it stay smooth and easy to clean

I’ll be honest, I purchased this screen protector because it was the only one available...but it works like a charm! It keeps the glare to a minimum and I don’t feel like I’m going to shatter my screen when drawing hard lines. The application process wasn’t terrible - just follow the directions and push harder than you would like to get out bubbles.

I do enjoy glass screen protectors because it feels more natural when using the Apple Pencil or any stylus for that matter but I have some pros and cons with glass screen protectors but especially Zagg Pros: 1) Feel more natural to the touch 2) Glides easier when using the device 3) Keeps the screen from any scratches and fingerprints Cons: 1) A massive fingerprint magnet and very annoying to keep cleaning 2) Gets micro-scratches fairly easy and quick 3) Not as durable and reliable as promised by Zagg 4) Once scratched or cracked, is noticeable and would need to be replaced since it doesn’t have an auto-healing technology. If the store doesn’t have anymore screen protectors or you don’t like to wait; I do recommend picking this up, but, by my personal useage with Zagg on many devices I have used, it’s one of the most expensive and least durable glass screen protector I have used.

I have had these on every device I use since 2012 and I cannot say how well they do other than they have saved me thousands of dollars!

This item is everything it claims it is. Very durable and easy to apply. So smooth it feels as if there's a thin layer of fluid between your finger and the screen. Doesn't scratch or fingerprint easily but, when it does need cleaning it cleans very easily without cleaning fluids. Just wipe with a soft clean cloth to polish clean. I'm very pleased With this purchase.

In my opinion, this is needed for every iPad. The screen is very clear, gives UV protection and peace of mind. It is expensive, but worth every penny.

This is a great screen protector. It is nearly invisible and feels a lot like the original glass. I had Best Buy do the install and it was perfect.
