Worth the extra cost

Peace of Mind

And the website said you didn't have too which is bogus...I called the Company and I was told I needed to for some reason I can't remember right now. Other than that, I like the product and I have peace of mind that my screen wont crack. This IS a Life Time Warranty also, which is great.
