It doesn't smudge as quickly or as badly and clean that much easier. I have dropped the phone a couple of times with no issues. No scratching or breakage

The cover up label said it was for iPhone 6 and 7 but the edges didn't seem to seal as nicely on the 7. I question if the stick on iPhone 7 label was simply a way to get the "made for 6" screen protectors off the shelf. Still nice though.
