The actual iPhone screen is able to withstand a lot more damage then this screen protector. Small bumps and shocks alone crack it. For my next iphone I just went without a protector and it is doing just fine

Great HD screen protector but cracks easily

I would expect it to crack had the surface been purely concrete. Given that the floor was heavily carpeted I would assume that the screen protector won’t be affected.

Smudgy Protection

However the Oleophobic feature claimed for this model does not work very well. Finger oils collect on surface to extent you can see a general smear over areas where fingers have been. Other models in past did not seem to hold these oils. They were much more oleophobic.
