I always pay BBY to put it on so that if I have any issues, they can always reapply another one for me. Lifetime warranty is with Zagg - so have to get a new one from them THEN come back to BBY for them to reapply - if you bought the screen install.

That said, they do break and the warranty process may not be worth the wait. We have had three or four and every one has cracked. The first warranty attempt was not accepted for a 5s. The second warranty attempt for a 7 plus has not arrived after several weeks of communications with zagg. In a pinch I ordered a multipack from amazon for less than the warranty replacement and had them next day. I bought this one on sale for a max. Hmm
