Protects Screen

In addition to protecting the screen it also results in less smudges. I have been very happy with these two screen protectors.

get the glass version instead

The protector ended up folding in on its self and was ruined. I ordered a replacement but as the glass version instead of the rubber version. Zagg's customer service was honestly the best part about the protector.

easy installation not so easy

Difficult to Apply

Using the Belkin MultiTasker Cover for Apple iPad made it unnecessary to apply the screen protectors. To their credit, the Best Buy salesperson did offer to apply the cover for me when I purchased the iPad. I declined since it was a gift and didn't want the box to be opened.

hard to install, better to have them do it.

I was leaving on vacation the next day with my new Ipad and was going to put the shield on to protect it. It said that you needed to wait 12 to 24 hours after installing it, before you could turn it on. Also the shield is bigger than the Ipad and there is no information on cutting it to size. I am going to let them install it at best buy.
