This time though, the area near the top is already starting to peel and that I am not pleased about as it never gets better once that starts happening.

ZAGG for Samsung Edge+

I don't think that the curved edge is meant for a screen saving shield - it catches on everything even if you use a case.

Whether it is the soft skins or glass I only trust my screens to Zagg products. I have 9 or 10 different products with Zagg protectors; lifetime guarantee works great; just remember to register it when you purchase them--takes 5 minutes!
