Had my S8+ for about a week and the scratches led me to break down and get one. (Gorilla Glass 5... got to love it.) I had Geek Squad apply the screen protector because I am terrible at doing it myself, and I don't regret this at all. The only gripe I have is that sometimes the protector lifts off the edge displays, but after a couple days of settling on the phone, those occurrences become less and less. I like it, this is much improved over the previous protectors with curved displays.

The included 'Application Gel' wipe was too dry and did not contain enough gel to adequately prime the adhesive. The screen protector is already peeling off a day after it was applied to the phone. I have read that in the past Zagg used to ship a small spray bottle of primer in the kit - they need to do this again.

This is the only screen protector that will work for the S8. Do not buy the glass one. You will regret it. Also, make sure you let Best Buy install it because it is pretty difficult to install.

I chose this screen protector because it was recommended by the Best Buy sales associate. Knowing these things can be tough to apply, I was VERY careful and followed the instructions to a T. It made no difference, as there are still bubbles left under the protector. I suspect this might be a result of the "gel adhesive," they have you apply to the protector first, because there were definitely no dust particles on the screen itself when I applied the protector. It's only been a few hours, and the protector is already lifting off the curved edges of the phone's screen. I'm sure it will be worse when I put my case back on. What a waste!

This shield works OK, it's easy to trap bubble under the film, mine came with a large piece of debris stuck on the application side of the film pushed right against the screen from within the film itself, there're also numerous dust particle stuck between the yellow backing and the shield itself I had to clean off, but the debris stuck below the application surface on the film itself is inexecusable, this basically made the film useless despite of my careful attempt in installation and cleaning the screen itself. This means the quality control and contamination control is very poor at ZAGG, the debris is clearly visible under the film, this should have never made past quality control. Too bad I didn't noticed until I applied the film on the screen, now i have this large piece of debris buried under the protect film right in the middle of the screen. Also the lifetime warranty requires shipping charge of at least $5.99, so while ZAGG may appear to stand behind the product, they're basically selling you another shield. So I went to Amazon and bought a complete different product instead. Aside from the film being riddled with particles of dirt, the film is also sticky to touch and gives the device a artificial shininess not pleasing to the eye, and the film shows weird unevenness on the surface. Combined with poor quality control, this is not a product that is to be recommended, stay away.

I purchased the invisible shield hard glass shield that needed to be replaced. But what was sent by Zagg was a flimsy cellulite type stick on that would not stick to my phone. I called but hung up after long waiting on hold. Don't buy this product if you think you my need to file for a warranty replacement

I wanted a screen saver on my new S8 immediately and have relied on Zagg in the past, but was worried by the reviews here. Since Zagg is the best in the market and comes with a guarantee, I went to Best Buy and had them install it. It works great! It does not interfere with screen touch, side menus, etc. I definitely recommend this one.

I always put a clear screen guard on my phones and they usually look good. This one looked horrible. I don't mean that you could simply tell there was a screen guard, I mean that it made my brand new cell phone look several years old and battered. When I sought a refund, I found out I could only have a replacement and that it would cost an additional $7 to have it shipped to me.

Today, I upgraded from a S4 to a S8 and upon learning that the otterbox no longer came with a screen protector, I purchased this item. Not only does it come with about two dollars worth of actual material, I applied it to both new phones and within minutes, the first screen protector came off and would not stick back on. The second would not stick out of the box. Both phones were properly cleaned and primed for the application. I followed the instructions word for word, as they are simple to understand. I also should make note that I work at a body shop and tint windows there, so I do know what I am doing. I can honestly say this is the worst $40 dollars (purchased two) that I have ever made. I would like to be contacted by a representative to try to resolve this matter.

I had this on my GS6 and wanted to try the glass for my GS8, That was a failure. Back to this for my GS8 and all my issues with the touch screen are gone.. This should be for first and only pick. HINT - Just have it installed for you.

Purchased this screen protector to replace an Otterbox Alpha Glass which was a total waste of money. The Zagg's sensitivity to the touch is as though there was no screen protector on the phone. This screen protector is totally compatible with the Otterbox Defender case. Best Buy tech installed this screen protector for me with no problem. Worth the extra cost.

The instructions are terrible, the yellow protective sheet came off in the wrong direction and there is debris everywhere, so much so that I can barely see my screen.

Bought this protector while in the store and not checking reviews online as I had just got a new phone but when I went to apply to the edges of the phone the case will not adhere. The directions simply say to push down from the bottom of the phone to the top along the edge but this did nothing but cause bubbles throughout the rest of the screen protector. Called best buy and they stated that I must have messed up using the case and no refund. Out $25 and my time for this product. Will just buy something off amazon that is designed for this phone.

and do not buy this junk! Holy cow I've installed countless numbers of screenprotectors in my life: dry, wet, clear. Ive done it all. But this one is different because it suppose to be wet but came with an "adhesive activators" you suppose to wipe over the protector. Well, it leaves lint from it!! Anyway wasted $25. Take my words for it. Do not buy!

With the curved edges the protective screen does not adhere permanently. I had two installed - both times by BB employee. One lasted only a few hours - second a few days before it started to come off. I returned it for a full refund. The issue is not the screen protector but the phone design. Cases that come up over the curved edge are not available as that would interfer in phone use. Product designed for a phone with flat edges would likely work well.

New Samsung S9 already has gorilla glass on it so glass is extra strong. Needed a protector that reduces finger prints. This is my third Zagg protector on my third phone and I love it. Have Best Buy install. Saves you the trouble and frustration. 10/10

Terrible product. Does not stick to the phone, it sticks to the adhesive cover instead, attracts hair and dust like nothing I've ever seen. Look and feels cheap even though the price tag is definitely not. I could see all sorts of indents and scratches on it right away, and they did not go away. Only bought it because an associate recommended this vs the glass one. It was a mistake thinking he knew what he was talking about. Extremely disappointed and will never purchase again.

I have put screen protectors on so many smart phones and also handheld consoles. All the previous Zagg shields were great, but this one with the wet application process is terrible. And the instruction book recommends watching an installation video on the website. I never found the video showing this type of application anywhere on their site! Avoid this product like the plague!

I worked in the Best Buy before and applied tons of screen protector for customers, wet and dry application. This screen protector is by far the worst. I read the instructions before and then slowly start to peel off the indicated side for the adhesive. The screen protector came off on the wrong side of the film, away from the side that you're suppose to align it against your phone. Not only that but I read that you're suppose to wipe the adhesive side of the screen protector with a gel activator which will leave lint on the adhesive side. Maybe I got a defective product but I'm not happy with this situation and will be going back to the store to get my refund.

I read all the directions to install the protector, then followed all the steps exactly. The protector would not even attempt to stick to my new phone. The 'gel adhesive' is a joke...nothing adhesive about it. Try to press out any bubbles with the piece of plastic included, and the whole protector slides instead. Definitely wish I had not ordered this from BestBuy.com
