    This is the second shield I've purchased for my phone. It seams they may not be necessary. The first one got a air bubble then lot of cracks. At first I thought it was great it saved my phone so I replaced it. Now I have a second one. It also has a crack in it. I have never dropped it or compromised it. Not sure why this has happened,if it's a good thing or not considering I haven't done anything to it. Not sure if I should replace it again or not.

    Yes, protected my iPhone screen, but after a few drops, the screen protector cracked. Although there's a lifetime replacement, you'd have to send in the cracked screen protector to get the replacement. Not really convenient. I bought the less expensive, non glass, screen protector and it's been working way better. Have Otterbox Symmetry series case since day 1.

    The glass protector seems sturdy. Take time in placing on your phone, make sure it's exactly aligned because it would be hard to reset later.
