This case doubles the weight of the iPad, and the magnetic back falls off easily. So protection is not its strong suit.

I wanted a sturdy and durable wireless keyboard and detachable case. They say it can be dropped 6 feet and still survive. I have used other keyboards and cases for a previous older iPad and within a year or so I would need to replace it. The case was made of a brittle plastic. This is is much sturdier.

Hold is not strong enough to transfer your iPad opened. It will detach easily.

Zagg needs to stick with their invisible shields. Had zagg replace it 5 times. Finally went with the apple keyboard. Love my apple keyboard.

Horrible quality. Device stopped working properly after using for about 3 days. It wouldn’t properly keep or stay charged for using. I had to but other keyboards.

This product would not charge so it would only work when plugged in. Took a back for a refund.

We had to return the product. With the iPad installed, pressing the comments button in Facebook take 20 - 30 seconds to respond

Buttons pop off way too easy and magnet does not stay strong to hold the iPad

Summary: Totally recommend for students. 100% great product all around. I am a third year student at NYU. I invested in this product because I needed something that could facilitate an easy switch between drawing and typing without compromising the ‘easy-access’ of my Apple Pencil (magnetic 2nd gen) or the way I generally use my iPad. To preface, I take pre-med classes like orgo, physics, and biology. Once again, totally recommend if you have a similar schedule. 1), I use a MacBook, and the transition from that keyboard to Zagg’s keyboard was seamless. 2) I love that the buttons are soft and buttery, great bonus. 3) Removing the iPad from the keyboard is extremely simple and honestly, I never take off the keyboard. It’s a multi-purpose stand to watch movies, write up reports, scroll through social media, etc. 4) The Apple Pencil access is perfect and exactly what I was looking for, other competing brands have the pencil separated from the magnetic side but this product checks that box off. 5) I have owned the product for about 5 months and have never charged the keyboard itself. 6) The case without the keyboard has a perfect balance of beauty and function. It is not a bulky case and it does offer a pretty good protection from falls. (No cracks) 7) You can use Bluetooth headphones while using the keyboard so no need to compromise. Only cons - wish there were more options to adjust the angle (There are only two settings). While using, the charging port (ipad) only faces to the right. I never write reviews, but given how much this product helped me achieve my best in my classes, I gotta say it was the best purchase ever.

This fell apart after 7 months. I’m disappointed because I specie bought Zagg because of their quality. This item pales in quality I’ve come to enjoy and love. Delete key fall off completely

All attempts to pair this device were unsuccessful. We could not find help, and by the time we made our last attempt, it was too late to return it. A monstrous waste of money!

Have one like this for another ipad which is why I chose this brand. Does not disappoint.
