Let me start off by saying that this case is somewhat on the heavy side. I knew this going in. If you plan to hold it in your hands, you will no doubt want to separate the iPad from the keyboard. That being said, I love this case. The keys are responsible and are very similar in feel to my Mac Book Pro. The case has a very sold feel and provides great protection to the iPad itself.

i purchased this case to protect my new ipad Pro and provide me with a decent keyboard. There was no manual and there was not a coupon for 3 months of Evernote for free. After only one month into using this keyboard, certain keys have stopped working. Is is way too expensive of a product to stop working after a month.

The keys broke off in les then a month and the keyboard part of this was not used

It didn't have the features I wanted, so I traded it in for another model.

I bought this bc it was the only one left for my iPad Pro. Big mistake. It's hard to take out the case. The case broke while trying to remove. I also damaged my iPad. On the corner of the tab was pushed to hard. I don't recommend.

I love the keyboard portion but hate how flimsy the actual part that is holding the keyboard is. I've gotten a replacement from Zagg and the second is worst than the first one I had. They need to improve the housing for the case.

Since getting my iPad Pro at release, I've had 3x different cases (Apple keyboard, Logi, and this one). By and FAR this is the best of all worlds. Here are the Pro's: 1. Excellent construction. Strong, durable, well made. 2. the ability to instantly remove the Ipad while still in the shell and work on it as a stand alone pad. (Logi doesn't do that) 3. The only one of the 3 that gives you a full range (instead of just 1) viewing angles. 4. best protective cover of the 3 to protect your iPad from damage. The con: 1. It is a lot heavier (when installed it's like carrying around a light laptop more than a pad.) 2. no keyboard interface, so it does still connect the keyboard via bluetooth, and requires keyboard charging.. note though, one keyboard charge lasts a VERY long time (better part of a year even with a lot of daily use). I would say of the 3x keyboard's the Apple was the worst, Logi 2nd and this one is the best.. by a wide margin. Great product, and highly recommending.

I paid over $1,200.00 for my iPad Pro and this case does not sufficiently protect it ! The case is cracked and the plastic is deteriorating. Not what I expected from a premium ZAGG case. Very disappointing!

The mechanism that holds $800 + iPad Pro into keyboard is not stable enough and your iPad will fall out and will probably get damaged. I tried to bring back to Best Buy for a replacement, but time for replacement expired so I threw case in the trash.

Have not been able to use the product, wrong cord contecting keyboard to iPad Pro, very disappointed, hoping to use product already. I haven't tried connecting charging cord yet, but shouldn't have to with price I paid for the product

I've owned two of these. They both split down the edge. I have spent over $250. Will not spend another dime on this company's products.

I bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas. It is not even the end of January and it already cracked. Not worth the price paid.

ZAGG products reliabilty are the worst! Slim book keyboard Product is heavy and clunky. Would not recommend.

I have been using a protective case with a stand with the apple wireless keyboard. I have been looking for a case/keyboard combo that was protective for my iPad Pro. When I seen this, i knew it was the one. This case is protective on all corners unlike many that are just the corner straps. There are no batteries that need to be replaced like the apple keyboard. This case offers the sleep feature, which saves the battery life throughout the day. The backlit keys are a nice feature when lying in bed at night while doing homework or anything else. It also offers different colors for the backlit lights. Being able to flip the iPad into the different modes and not just as a "laptop", but as a stand to watch movies or read. When connected, it looks like a laptop and feels like one. I caught myself looking for the trackpad a few times already. This product is outstanding. I do wish there was a spot for the Apple Pencil though. The edge with the iPad connects with the keyboard is magnetic, but it's not strong enough to trust while transporting from place to place.

The plastic is flimsy and breaks apart very easily. Stay away a total piece of junk.

My Zagg Slim Book Keyboard case is the absolute best! It never fails me! Although it weighs a tad bit more than my iPad Air II keyboard case, the use of it is much more convenient because of its size. It offers the great benefits of the Air II, but at a much more convenient level. Plus, it's slimmer and really a very nice product. The fact of the charged battery life is really long is even better because I know I won't have to charge it many times, perhaps maybe twice a year, based on my use of Zagg products. I'm truly excited and happy with my product.

I love my slim book cover. Has great battery life. I have been using my IPad Pro as laptop. It does add a good bit of weight to it. The only thing that I dislike is that the case and keyboard scratches very easily.

Loved this keyboard and case. It was a very nice tactical keyboard, easy to setup, and being able to adjust the angle of the iPad was amazing. With this keyboard and an iPad Pro I was able to completely replace my laptop. However, the hinge started breaking after 6 months, and has finally cracked away. It's really disappointing. Do what I didn't, and if they offer a care plan for this, BUY IT. Although I will probably search elsewhere and get a different case entirely.

I compared to the Apple case and the Logitech case but chose the Zagg because I can actually lift the iPad off the keyboard and use it like the tablet it was born to be. Very heavy, but looks like a MacBook.

There's almost nothing negative about this keyboard/case. It turns your iPad Pro 12.9 into a laptop and I honestly keep thinking there's a trackpad on it. If there were, this would be the absolute best case. The backlighting receives a 9/10 score, there's a little too much light bleeding from under the keys making it harder to see the letters are certain angles, even on the lowest setting. But the keys themselves feel great and better than most laptops. The added benefit here over the Apple Smart Keyboard is that you get to protect your entire iPad, vs only the screen when it's closed. The hinge is very strong and haven't had any issues yet. It has plenty of shortcut keys to help you avoid pressing the home/power/volume buttons. The power and volume buttons are a little difficult to press with this case on. There's no reason this cannot be improved. The structural integrity doesn't matter as much in those areas. But still, 5/5 stars.
