I purchased this case because I thought you get a lot more than any other case. There are two pieces. Bottom attachment which is your keyboard and top attachment, which is your cover for iPad. The whole thing is pretty sturdy and heavy as everyone said. But its more stable, so that's good. I'm not sure why they didn't make the cover silver as well, to match the keyboard part. Its black. Typing and feel is all great. Backlight keyboard is awesome. I have no clue why apple didn't make something like this, but apple is weird with their stuff. One thing that I didn't like is like another reviewer stated, it makes creaking/sticky noise every time you open it or adjust the angle.On the top right side of the keyboard, where the feet are, there is a silver accent plastic that is glued or something that makes this noise. It was bothering me so I took it back to exchange. Long story short, I didn't exchange because I tested another one there and it had the same issue. There is a fault with the case. I think I will wait a little bit and see if it gets fixed in different batch. I really liked the case but it shouldn't be making any noise.

I love this thing! It has the MacBook keyboard and you can protect your iPad inside of it. Plus you can use it in 4 different ways as the iPad is attached to the keyboard via strong magnet. Great buy!

I had another I-pad pro cover (without keyboard) and was looking for something a little better as mine broke. I wanted to make sure I could bring this back if I didn't like it....but to my delight I am in LOVE with this cover and keyboard. The keyboard is easy to type on...the magnetic holder that grabs onto the i-pad and holds it upright is amazing! It looks just like a little laptop, but when I want to, I can detach the i-pad and use it alone as a tablet, I've seen products that promise this...but never any that work as slick as this. It was also easy to attach to bluetooth. Worth. Every. Penny.

This keyboard is the best!!!! Makes my iPad Pro seem like it's an actual laptop !!! Very easy to use and makes working on my iPad Pro so much easier !!!

I purchased the ZAGG Slim Book in April of 2016 and absolutely loved it. It is better than any laptop keyboard as far as form and function and no track pad to interfere with typing when your palms brush it. Keys are solid, responsive, and the back light features are beter than I expected. My only complaint is the back cover cracked over the camera cut out after a few months but I was able to live with it. Late in the day on March 25th, 2017, the iPad holding slot has loosened with out warning and now the iPad pops out when trying to open the case and falls out if set further than a 90 degree angle. Even then it falls out if moved or not kept level or if I touch the screen with the lightest effective tap. I use my device moderately for recreation, research, ordering, and email and very rarely take it out of the house. It is not used hard or treated rough and I feel it should have lasted much longer than this for the price. I have to wait until Best Buy opens so I can call and get instructions for a fix. I am a bit concerned since I just now read the fine print concerning the replacement plan. Apparently they have the option to fix, replace with a REFURBISHED or LIKE PRODUCCT or even worse refund cost based on THE CURRENT VALUE! Really! What is the value on a defective one year old ZAGG Slim Book? Even if it means for the current selling price of $112 it is a loss of $56 considering I paid $149 for the case and $20 for the plan a year ago. I will have to wait and see and then write a review for the Replacement Protection Plan that I bought with the product.

I had a Zagg folio case for my previous iPad that worked exceptionally well, and I used it for 2 1/2 years. When I sold that iPad I sent that case with it because it still worked. That's probably what makes my experience with this one so disappointing. The concept of this case is great, and when I first got it, I loved it. However, after just 3 1/2 months, it is already failing me. The weak point is the hinge and magnets that connect the plastic case holding your iPad to the keyboard. The hinge is quite stiff, probably to hold up the weight of your giant iPad, but the plastic that forms the slot that you slide it into is too weak. As soon as you start using it you notice that the plastic is flexing each time you open and close it. Now, after just 3 1/2 months, the flexing has weakened this plastic to the point where when you are using the iPad in typical laptop configuration it is flopping around in the slot. The weakening of this plastic has also compromised the ability of the magnets to hold the iPad in the slot. Each time I open and close the clamshell, the iPad pops out of the slot. It's gotten to where I have to twist the hinge open without the tablet in it, and then reinsert it into the slot nearly every time I open it. I've even had it fall out of the slot while it was open. The plastic of the hinge needs to be much stronger, as making the hinge less tight would probably compromise its ability to hold the iPad as well, and making the hinge deeper would start to obstruct the screen. I'm really disappointed with this product, and after spending $140 on this one I'll probably have to buy a different one after just a few months. Poor design Zagg.

I purchased my cover about a year ago, I have purchased zagg products in the past I have been very happy with them, this case however seems to crack on the edges after a short period of time. However as long as you register your product when you first get it the company will replace the cover free of charge. Well that's not entirely true you have to pay the return charge to send the cover back to once they send you the new cover. I am on my fourth one now and about to order a fifth because this one has started to crack on the edges. The flaw seems to be in the way they fit around the iPad its too tight. I have read some reviews that say it actually cracked the screen of their iPad.

I purchased this case because of the company's reputation for screen protectors. This case was more expensive than any ther case I've purchased. The keyboard is very heavy but works well when the unit synchs. However, the top lid isn't well made and cracks easily near the power button. I'm in the process of exchanging my current case for my fourth case in less than 6 months. If they redesign the area near the power button is to resemble the area when the power cord attaches, it will improve the integrity of this case.

I've gone through 3 of these keyboard since purchasing my iPad Pro in March of 2016. The first's hinge disconnected. The second's hinge disconnected. I can barely flip open the iPad on the third because the magnet/hinge is so weak. The 'L' key also snapped off last week. Keyboard is all plastic. If you are planning to use your iPad Pro as a laptop replacement, look towards a keyboard that is sturdier. I really wanted to like this. I'm purchasing the Logitech next.

I have never dropped my iPad, but after having this case on my iPad for maybe 3 weeks it started cracking apart in a few places. It seems the keyboard portion is perfect, I love it, but the case is falling apart. DO NOT BUY THIS. though I love the design, the materials are cheap, and it will break apart for no reason at all. I returned the first one I bought hoping it was a lemon, got another of the same thing, but it happened again.

This keyboard case was given to me at my current job for my iPad Pro. I use this iPad everyday for work and the case is horrible! Not only is it bulky and heavy it is also poorly designed. I too have had the problem of the case chipping off by the power and volume controls. I have been using this keyboard for about 6 months and now I cant open the case without the iPad falling off. The "track holder" where the iPad sits will bend open wider over time causing this problem as well as the iPad not fitting securely like it used to on day one. In the closed position I have to slide the iPad out and then open the "track holder" by my hands then put the iPad back in it. The iPad itself now moves way too much while in the closed or open position. As a result of this my iPad has fallen once already. Zagg customer service is nonexistent. Poor product!!

Horrible product. The keyboard itself works well, but the cover for the iPad is very cheap. It broke within the first month. Will try to return it. Do not buy this product.
