I may have got a defective case and had to return... the case would not stay put in the keyboard slot.

Just they dropped the quality of the materials since the old one, broke in a few days of use.

I wouldn't recommend it. In less than 2 months it broke by right corner.

The majority of bad reviews are the result of the iPad cover disengaging from the hinge. This is always the result of weak magnets that are supposed to hold the iPad in the hinge. The problem seems most prevalent in the Slimbook designed for the iPad Pro. The customer service rep let me swap the covers from an iPad Air 2 and an iPad Pro model. With the hinge problem solved, the Slimbook has all the attributes to make it the best keyboard cover on the market,

Best keyboard I have come across. Great design for multiple uses. Tight hinges and must be careful not to break case that connects to keyboard but otherwise solid.

So far, i really love this keyboard. It has a really nice feel when you press the keys and the design is pretty flawless in my honest opinion. The case fits well, although it did take me a minute to figure out how to pop it in correctly. I had no problem connecting to bluetooth, either. I have yet to figure out how to properly activate the backlit function, but it isn't that big of a deal to me. It makes my ipad look like a small macbook and i like it. I have an iPad Air 2 for anyone wondering

I will NEVER purchase another Zagg product again. Not only is the PRODUCT defective, but the warranty is awful. 6 weeks after purchase, the hinge cracked and sent my iPad Pro 9.7 crashing to the floor. After reading around some reviews on other sites, I saw it was a common thing, and went to their website to file a warranty claim. They admitted it was a known problem, said they were trying to fix the problem and approved me for a replacement. More than 5 weeks later, they finally shipped the replacement, only now *I* am expected to pay to ship the original defective product back to them, in spite of having to wait a ridiculous amount of time. I strongly suggest you DO NOT PURCHASE this keyboard.

Good idea but poorly executed, The hinge is prone to cracking, the magnets fall out of the hinge, the iPad will not fully seat into the hinge area with the cover and it does not fully close and the keys actually hit the screen. Thank you Best Buy for allowing me to return this quickly and without hassle before it damaged my iPad. note to Zagg, looks like you may have designed this from pre-production specs or assumed the iPad air 2 was the same depth as the pro and it is not and then used the cheapest possible contract vendor in china to build it, Bad business model.

The dog gone thing is useless! The hinge will NOT hold the iPad securely. You must constantly be on the alert or your iPad falls to the ground. The only positive is the backlit keyboard. I struggled with it for three days and returned it for a different brand.

I read the previous reviews, but purchased this keyboard anyway because it was on sale. I hoped that I would be one of the luck ones...I was not. Pros: The keyboard charged quickly and easily paired with my iPad Pro. Cons: The case separated from the keyboard too easily. I was always afraid that the iPad would fall on the floor. Because of this concern, I am returning this keyboard today and will pay more for a better product.

Very disappointed with this keyboard. Keyboard itself is good, but it is not locking properly. We have to try really hard to lock the keyboard, and it works perfectly fine. Later you close and try to open the ipad, it just unlocks or no longer safe as it might fall down anytime. Not worth the money :-(

This is terrible don't buy!!! I got my first zag keyboard from Best Buy and in less than a month the hinge broke. I was not forceful in opening, closing, and attaching it and it just broke. I got a replacement from zagg and had to pay $40 to ship my broken one in. The new one has broken in less than a month as well. The keyboard wouldn't completely attach to the hinge because it was not the same size and the case has cracked in multiple places. I ABSOLUTELY URGE YOU TO BUY FROM A DIFFERENT BRAND!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM ZAGG!!!!
