keeps screen from scratching and fingerprints. The screen still smudges and picture is not as clear with it on

Bought smudge proof to protect screen and keep surface "clean" but it makes the clarity poor and it mught as well be smudged itself....stick with the clear and save $5

Recommend paying to have it installed. I wrecked the first one and had to repurchase and have Geek install.

worst product ever. impossible to put on, gets damaged immediately, "smudge proof" is a flat out lie, and it renders anything on the ipad impossible to read. don't waste a cent on this piece of garbage!

Does what it is says. I think it is a little over priced but this is standard cost at all retailers.

Horrible screen cover. I was looking for something to cut the glare on my iPad. The screen was fuzzy and very hard to read. Took away all the clarity and cut the color. I took it back the next day. And the price is crazy for a sheet of plastic.

Distorts view, do not buy the smudge proof version. Regular zagg is the best money can buy.

it did not install easy and when purchased the spray bottle that it came with did not work. i had to break the bottle to use the solution. would not advise anyone to purchase.

I don't understand why everyone doesn't get one of these covers. I never have to clean it...if anything does get on the cover? Even a finger will remove it with no visible lines left etc. The only downside that I see is that the quality of the picture is diluted somewhat. Would rather have that than scratches. GREAT PRODUCT

Well, this is a very good screen protector for the iPad 2, it fits perfectly, and the screen protecter is very power full. Zagg is a very good company, there military technology is very interesting. The last reviewer was probably just mad about something, or against zagg. The only problem that I see, is that when u use the screen protector on, with the smart cover, the magnets get weakened a lot.

Best Buy wanted to charge me $15.00 to put on the screen protector. How ridiculous is that? I had to go to Verizon to buy a longer charging cord because the one that came with it was a few feet long. So in addition I bought a screen protector along with the longer cord and got 35% off my purchase and they put on my screen protector for me at NO CHARGE! Best Buy get with the program.

While it is not so cheap, the shield provides good scratch protection. The ZAGG provides great customer service and they will mail you a new one as soon as you have a problem. I recommend you to have the BestBuy associates install the film for you, they do a great job in avoiding bubbles and noticing defects right away with the product. If it was little cheaper, it would be 5 star...

I really hated the smears on my iPad so I purchased this as per a reccomendation and I have enjoyed the smudge free screen and protection. If I had to complain about anything it would be that it does, in my opinion take a little of the clearity away from the display but not enough for me to really complain about

I have this screen saver on my iPhone 4, too! I need something strong to protect my devices. This does the job. YES, it is hard to install the screen protector but it's worth it. I do have to complain on the price, it's too high, for only one protector! Overall I'm happy that my screens are protected!

the spray didn't work very well and wouldn't stick to the ipad. spent way too much money just to have to throw it away.

Worthless! Don't let them sell you on this. It ruined the view of the screen, making it look blurred and of poor resolution. BestBuy wouldn't refund the price of it and the mfgr won't return my inquiry.

The protector does a great job at protecting and an ok job at preventing smudges (it still gets them, just maybe not as many). It also cuts down on reflections and glare which is helpful when around lots of direct lighting or outside. The downside is that the anti-glare/matte surface reduces some resolution and sharpness, but the trade-off is well worth it.

I was sold these for 3 ipads and 2 iphones and wasted about $200 since they are so bad I don't want to replace with similar item, so lifetime warranty isn't worth the hassle of replacing continuously.

Works as described. I have no fingerprints when I use my iPad. The shield is works as described.

Works OK - Best Buy charges too much to apply. My hubby applied it without problems.
