It may be smudge proof but it is also Use Proof! This makes small text simply impossible to read. I guess if all you used the Ipad for was games where the sharpness of the picture did not matter then it would be ok. BUT forget trying to read an article on the internet or anything involving small text.

Not visually clear at all. I have screen protectors on 5 iphones in my family and they are all crystal clear. Impossible to read small print with this one. Hard to believe I wasted almost $60 on this. If I could have rated less than 1 star I would have. Oh well, expensive lesson

Hated everything about it. For the price, it doesn't do any justice on my iPad. It doesn't compliment the retina display on the new iPad. The moisture from the spray on absorb the color from my case & now the four corners of the iPad are blue. Best Buy wouldn't give me a refund even though I have it for less than a month with receipt. The lifetime warranty from Zagg is not quite a warranty coz you still have to pay out of pocket for both delivery (replacement $5) & return shipping (used $5). So suddenly this hopeless screen protector cost $45! I still think Power Support has the best screen protector. I got it for my iPhone and I love it! HD anti glare that compliment the display & kinda smudge proof.

This thing is AWFUL! I even had it installed by a Best Buy Tech. The sales person told me my screen would be foggy looking for a few days ... it NEVER cleared up. Save your money ... buy a case for your IPad instead and you won't need a so called screen protector. If I could have, I would not have given this product ANY stars!

This product sticks well, bubbles get out after a few days and looks good. However, functionally - it is a complete disaster. The view is very grainy and the IPAD screen looks like a cheap badly pixeled product. I am returning this back to best buy tomorrow. The regular 10 buck screens off the internet should be a better buy.

I bought this when I bought my my iPad, didn't read any reviews just grabbed it off the shelf. I don't like it. I would peel it off if it didn't cost so much. It affects the quality of the image. Things aren't as crisp they should be. It's like it puts a soft focus on everything on the screen, no crisp sharp edges anywhere. Once this one is scratched a little I will peel it off and go with another brand.

I wanted to protect my screen from scratches and reduce the glare, which this product does. The screen itself was difficult to apply, but I managed it and did so without any air bubble so I was initially happy. However it said nothing about the terrible viewing quality. The screen has a rainbow, pixelated effect which is unbearable. The screen looks like it is still wet underneath (kind of like when you get water on a tv screen). I waited several days hoping it would disappear, but no. Going to try to return it, but I don't have high hopes. $35 down the drain.

This screen protector is absolutely horrible. It may be a tough protector but it has a grainy finish like matte and it does a great insult to the crystal clear ipad2 screen. It takes away the clarity and clearness. It is also the most expensive screen protector in the market and also the worst.

I chose this screen protector because it would be anti glare. What I did not count on was how much it would dull the screen, and the wonderful retina display of the new iPad3. I paid $14.99 for the Geek Squad to do a less than superb job to install the screen. It came with smudges that could not be removed! It is also possible to nick the screen with a fingernail, and for $40 I don't think this should happen. I am going back to the store, having the shield removed, and going shieldless. I keep my iPad in a hard case with ample padding. I am very careful, so I don't think a shield is going to be necessary for me. ' 'These products, and the fee to have it installed was way over priced.

Do not buy this product, it degrade your screen resolution so badly. This was recomended by Bestbuy sales person as one of the best screen protectors. They couldn't have been more wrong. Bestbuy, you should stop selling this product.

This reduces the glare and smudges, but the film causes a blurred type image. Knowing what I know, I would not buy again.

It is good, avoid finger prints, however it changes the resolution of the screen. After while I removed it and the screen is much clear. Is better to buy a smart cover to protect the screen.

Smudge proof and finger print proof it is But the screen looks like you are seeing it through a fog. it caused eye strain. For more than$30 it was really a terrible experience and best buy won't take it back. I even got the clear one hoping that would be better but the thickness and the feel of the screen is tough. don't make the same mistake I did.

I purchased this item for $34.95 with the intention of protecting the screen, but once I put it on, the resolution and overall picture quality was diminished. there were several vertical lines that were in the film. I followed the directions to a tee (even washed my hands first!) so I don't believe the lines are a result of my installation. Besides, I pulled the backing off perpendicular to the lines..... Save your money, I removed it @ weeks later.

After using this product for a bit, It does its purpose, but I dont like that it doesn't show the true quality of the picture on the Ipad. Watching cartoon movies, it does great with, but watching regular movies, it kind of looks blurry somewhat. Pictures aren't great quality either. Id rather have a glossier look to it to where it shows a better quality. I definitely feel it should not be $35.00. More like $20.

I am a long time Zagg customer and I love all of their products except for this one. It is unfathomably terrible. The problem with it is that it drastically reduces image quality. Whatever they use to make it "smudge proof" is the cause of this. DO NOT BUY.

This screen protector serves the purpose of protecting the screen. However the viewing quality is terrible. This screen protector makes the screen look really blurry. We bought 6 for everyone in our office plus I bought one for the iPhone 4. After a couple weeks we all took them off and got the clear screens which were awesome. A little difficult to put on, but after putting on a dozen of them it's much easier lol

Had to return immediately, had Best Buy install it, took it home, and it makes the iPad screen so fuzzy and unusable. Made me dizzy.

This screen protector is easy to install, but it completely ruins the crisp iPad display. It has a prismatic effect, especially on white, that makes primary colors very visible. I couldn't stand it and had to return it. Cudos to Best Buy for replacing it for me with something much better. Their service in dealing with the swap was great.

When I purchased this I didn't realize that it wasn't a completely clear protector. The packaging or the sales person didn't point that out. After I went back to BestBuy to question the film look it gives, I was told that if I wanted a clear screen protector that I needed to purchase the Zagg HD invisible shield. I wish I had been told that before I purchased this one and had it installed in the store.
