I "lightly" used this cover/keyboard for only a few months before the hinges broke out. Now I have half a cover (it covers the back only). I would say all in all, don't waste your money.

I purchased this thinking it would be great due to the different angles available for the case to be open. Instead it felt like I was close to breaking it by changing the viewing angles. I ended up returning this purchase.

    Very Versatile Keyboard Case

This was my keyboard first choice after doing much research and deciding against the Belkin Qode for the Air 2. I much prefer the layout and key responsiveness of Zagg products. Unfortunately, my first keyboard had to be exchanged due to faulty/splotchy lighting of the backlit keyboard. Fortunately the replacement keyboard was much improved in the backlighting area. I like the features of this case, with the ability to remove the iPad, turn the iPad around to view in movie/video mode, and read in book mode. The keyboard itself is easy to use, it connects readily via Bluetooth, the typing is very fluid with satisfying tactile feedback, and the keyboard itself seems quite well-constructed. The bad points: the hinge is a little stiff, but not a dea-breaker; the keyboard could offer several backlit lighting color choices; and the case covering the iPad could be constructed of more sturdy and protective material.

We returned this item. It offered very little protection for the iPad which was a must for us. It is great if it's an iPad you leave a work or something but not great for travel.

Great product. Nice size keyboard. Ability to completely remove tablet from keyboard is great so you don't have to remove it from the case every time. Nice backlit keyboard and multiple positions for viewing videos vs typing vs reading. Only 4 stars because the hinge is REALLY tight and broke the first one so I had to return and get a new one. Still the best keyboard I've come across

KEEP ON LOOKING. (This is after two weeks of putting up with the device using an iPad Air 2- it's going back!) This thing is an absolute piece of junk. The quality of the keyboard is its one redeeming feature, but the hinge and cover that offer protection are a joke. The cover is simply a flimsy piece of plastic to cover as a skin to the iPad - fine, scratch protection,,, IF IT STAYED ON! It constantly pops off every time you open the device and will easily pop off when you use the thing as a tablet as there is nothing to hold it in there. As I said, the keyboard is quality, but the hinge that makes your device into a laptop-like unit is impossible to work with. Opens only with force. Constantly loses contact of the tablet (so much for protection, hold onto it!), and generally makes a $130 unit a piece of junk. My recommendation is to wait for the Rugged Book or buy the cheaper version. It has a similar top protection, but the hinge is completely different. Zagg is aware of this issue and is working on a replacement. Wait for it!

Nice and Slim but has some issues

I have recently purchsed the Slim Book at my local Best Buy during Black Friday. The product mislabeled on their web site. None the less, I do have a full video review of the product up on YouTube at the link below: http://youtu.be/MVYM3IEwd9s Other notes. As I've been using this keyboard now for a few weeks, I'm disappointed in some things: The back cover does not lock on very well to my iPad Air 2 and easily slips off when opening the case. The iPad in the back cover (docked in the keyboard case) indeed does wobble (there seems to be some play there which causes this, but the hinge itself is quite solid). The back lit keys are good, but in this price range, they could have offered the muti colors and mutiple brightness settings.Typing feels ok, but like someone else mentioned here, I find myself typing words that are missing letters since you have to press slightly harder on the keys to make sure they fire off (this can be quite frustrating). I love the look of this keyboard, how thin it is, and the capabiity to pull off the iPad ad flip it over, or just use as a stand alone tablet. Based on some of my findings, I'll likely do part 2 review of this case, and now that I've had a good amount of time to play with it, I think there's a strong possibility that I'll take it back and buy something else. For $129, I was expecting a much more polished and solid product. I managed to pick this up for $89.99 due to a pricing error (which they had to honor), but even still at this price point I'm still disappointed in some of the flaws. I think ZAGG might have rushed this product through production due to the overwhelimg demand and lack of varieties in good keyboard cases for the Air 2. Although New Trent's AirBender 5.0 is a little thicker, it seems to pack some features that even ZAGG does not have (see my review on that on as well from my YouTube channel). Hope this helps someone's buying decsion.
