    Nice portfolio

Fits the iPad air 2 perfectly. The key board easily conneccts to the iPad and wakes the iPad up when it goes to sleep. The only thing tht would improve this product would be the incorporation of lighted keys.

    Bought this twice-defective

Got this Zagg Folio-worked great for 2 months then Q A and Z stopped working on the keyboard. I recharged the device-still wouldn't work-so exchanged it for a new one-thinking it was a fluke for that particular Folio. The 2nd one worked for about two months-during which time the hinges became weak-but I kept using b/c liked the the unit. Then the same three keys stopped work-pretty unbelievable (and annoying). I returned it and got the Logitech instead. One week in and I actually like this unit better than the Zagg. Hope it keeps working!

Great Case for sale price and love color/ease use

Great case for the price paid on black friday. I got the purple and it is as described. Easy to use, paired with absolutely no issue. Had a friend who got one also and absolutely simple to use. Have to power keyboard on when i have had it off a bit but truly just a push of the button. There is no backlight but i did know that when i purchased the unit so did not expect that. would be a nice thing to have backlight but i can not justify cost difference. Keyboard has good spacing and i belive you get maximium space you can for a device as small as the air2. this case makes me not afraid to carry my air2 without breaking it. I type faster than i write so thrilled.

    Floppy lid

Even with careful use, the lid on my first one became so floppy I had to hold it up. Luckily I had registered it with Zagg, so they sent me another one, although it cost me $10 in postage to send the first one back to Zagg. My new case lid became floppy immediately. It's obviously a design flaw. It not for that, I would give this case five stars.

I absolutely LOVE this case! It's hard shell is protective. It's a little heavy, but not near as heavy as a laptop would be! The bluetooth always connects seamlessly. It has turned my iPad Air 2 into a replacement for my laptop! A++++++++

    Didn't last

I was very pleased with my Zagg for my ipad air 2. I purchased Nov. 29, 2014, waiting for shipping. I probably didn't even start using it until mid-Dec. Now, today is Feb. 27, 2015 and it's broken. When I open it the hinge doesn't work - it just flops all the way open. I expected it to work more than 2.5 months. Sad

    Keyboard is light weight

The BT connection is not intuitive. Many times, it needs to be reset on the iPad in order for the connection to function. Once connected, the keyboard is working fine. The keyboard is too light in weight so it will tilt to the other side of the flip which holds the iPad if the open angle is more than 100 degrees.

    What is this? MacBook mini?

First off. Don't buy this case unless you are looking to use your iPad as a laptop 100% of the time. The keyboard does not fold back behind the iPad or come off when you'd just like to use it as a tablet. Second, the hinges are tight at first but the longer you use the case the more loose it gets until it finally snaps. The fact that this case has the power of keeping the screen light on is also terrible. My battery life was cut by about 2x as much as it was before I put the case on it. This case is very bulky, and maybe worth 10 dollars. Honestly.

    Best Tablet Keyboard Ever

I LOVE this keyboard. It has a hinge so it turns your tablet into a mini computer. It opens and closes just like a computer. The keys are great size. It is light weight and still protect my iPad. Everyone asks me where I got this keyboard. I bought a second one for my work iPad. I have purchased Zagg bluetooth keyboards in the past and always liked them, but this one is the best.

This was a great product until the hinge broke after 6 mos of daily light use...otherwise would give a 5 star. Now waiting for replacement from Zagg under warranty. Will give another try to see if this was a fluke.

    Excellent Case

I bought this for my new iPad Air 2. So far I really like it. It protects the iPad very well and is very well made. The only complaint I have is that the customer associate at Best Buy said the older version of the Folio case built for the iPad Air would fit an Air 2. Turns out they were wrong. The iPad fit inside but the button access was wrong.

    Good keyboard, bad case

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Let's start with the good: the usability of this keyboard is excellent. The keys have the right amount of travel, the layout is good, and no annoying key doubling. Great keyboard (though no backlight). However, the case, that's another story. First of all the thing weighs a ton. Far more than the iPad itself, and more even than their Folio from a couple of years ago for the iPad 2. There's no reason that a case for an iPad with smaller dimensions needs to be heavier. All I can think of is they put a huge battery in it. They say it can last for 2 years between charges. Guess what? I'd settle for once a MONTH charging if you could knock a quarter pound off the thing. Second, the magnets don't work to turn the iPad on and off. They are there, I've gotten them to work with the iPad out of the case, but either they are in the wrong places or not strong enough. Can't they test this sort of thing before sending out 20,000 of them? Finally, the iPad is really hard to get out of the case without severe bending. Again, the design they had for the iPad2 worked great, and was lighter to boot. Why couldn't they have just used that?

I love this case/keyboard. I always have the keyboard with me and it protects my iPad as well. A wonderful all in one unit. Makes it easy to type documents, etc. If I want to read or watch a movie it holds the iPad upright and I don't have to hold it! Just wish it had a track pad!

    "Old" got thinner

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This keyboard looks exactly like the last generation for IPad Air, but a bit thinner for the IPad Air 2. Pairing took second and connection is perfect, so no need for reconnecting like some other No brand cheap Bluetooth keyboards that is sold from China. This keyboard desperately need backlit keys, because you can't see anything in the dark, and that is the reason why I chose to go with a 4 star rating.

I have had this for two weeks and the hinge has already broken. It is also difficult to snap this out of the case. It needs some sort of releasefor when you want to use it without the keyboard. Not sure if I want to replace this. I liked my old Logitech keyboard that I had for my iPad 2.

    Good but Slightly Different

    Posted .

I waited about a month for this item to come off pre-order. As soon as I got notification that it was available for purchase I bought and after some issues with delivery (nothing to do with Best Buy) I finally receivied the case. The case works great and suprisingly still keeps the ipad bad small enough to carry with out making it feel uncomfortable in your hands. The ONLY and I repeat ONLY issue I have with the case is that the picture shows the case being Blue & White but it is actually Blue and Light Gray. The gray is so light that even when I took a picture of the case to show what it looked like it too came out white but if you are looking for a case that is Blue and White, you will definetly notice it is NOT white when you receive the case. That aside this case works great and I would recommend it to anyone if the color is not a deal breaker.

    Hinge is the problem

I bought two zaggfolios and loved the keyboard itself. The spacing was just right. However, I was so disappointed when the hinge started breaking. It starts with one crack, then within the next day or two, the entire hinge breaks. I loved my first one so much that I purchased a second. Unfortunately, that one was also broke within two months of purchase. Best Buy was kind enough to let me replace it with another brand. Will not purchase this particular zagg model again.
