The case is lightweight and easy to use. Sometimes I want to use a keyboard and the color is nice.

I got this case because I got tired of waiting for the ClamcCase Pro in Gold for the iPad Air 2. I got th is to hold me over until they finally decide to release it. I had high hopes that this would be wonderful, and even be better than the ClamCase Pro for iPad Air 2. I was quite a bit disappointed. This is for the iPad Air 1, not the Air 2. That is not a big deal because it does fit for the most part. You will need to modify (cut the separation) the case where the volume control is as the volume buttons have been moved up, and the silent switch removed, for the iPad Air 2, but it otherwise fits. This keyboard is not backlit, which is a pretty big letdown for a Zagg keyboard. Also, the hinge does not rotate around fully like the ClamCase Pro does. There is no tablet mode for this keyboard. I like the rose gold finish, but I will definitely be replacing this with a ClamCase Pro when it comes out. The special functions are nice, but the case is not very sturdy. It is a doable work around for me, but I don't think it is worth the price I paid. It is a bit of a letdown actually. I won't be getting another Zagg.

Was really excited to get this Zagg folio because of the new colors, but for whatever reason the Sage one (and probably the other new colors: orchid, crimson, rose gold) does not come with backlight --yet the description says it does. Even the workers at the store said there was a backlight on this. There is no button to turn on the backlight where it normally would be on the black or white Zagg folio. Instead, there are two command keys. Not even the manual has any information about a backlight. Still debating whether I should keep it because everything else it actually perfect (easy to use, easy to type, awesome color), but probably going to exchange it for the black.

I recently purchased this at my local Best Buy store and it was on sale for the same price as online. I had a different case and returned it in less than 24 hours, I saw this at the checkout stand, Pros : lightweight not bulky. Keys are very stable and easy to use, commands are amazing and easy to use, this transforms the experience of using the iPad for me. I feel like I am using a MacBook Air now, it has that feel. Cons : hard to find issues with this,, it connected to Blue Tooth right away. Grab it while you can, it's sweet!

I purchased this folio keyboard case after my ClamCase fell apart. By the way, ClamCase is an inferior product that should never have commanded the price it did. I got mine on sale for $120 (regular $170) last December. It started cracking up (very light use) a couple of months after I got it. This case seems much more sturdy, and I like the keyboard. I'm a fast typist and the keys work flawlessly. My only complaint is that from time to time when I hit the home key nothing happens. I have to restart the iPad for it to work. I must say, though that I had the same problem with the ClamCase, so it's more likely an iPad compatibility problem. Oh, and when I brought this to the checkout, thought it was priced at $89, but it checked out at $31! Big bargain, and I'm really happy with it so far.

Once you know to wake the iPad up using the home or internet button, the the keypad is great. If you wake your iPad from the iPad home button, the keyboard is asleep and won't work! I wanted to roof test this thing for the first week, constantly reconnecting the blu tooth. The quality of the product is solid, it has survived numerous short drops. Keyboard clicks are smooth and it holds a charge for months. Better users directions would keep this from getting so many 1 star reviews

I genuinely enjoy using this product! I find it very convienient and quite lovely to use! Pros: 1) Keys are easy to use and have a nice feel to them. Nice set of function keys as well. Keys do not feel cheap and resemble the Apple keyboards. 2) Connecting to the keyboard via Bluetooth is very easy and connects almost instantly. 3) The keyboard provides a battery life detector, which is nice for those who use keyboards often. 4) When done using the keyboard, simply closing the case will lock the iPad. The keyboard will also turn off to preserve battery life. Cons: 1) The Bluetooth connection may sometimes disconnect, but can easily be reconnected by using the Control Center on the iPad. It can disconnect by leaving the iPad open for too long without using the keyboard, or closing it too quickly will sometimes also turn off the Bluetooth connection. 2) With this particular case, you only really get a view of the iPad in landscape view. In order to view the iPad in portrait mode, you have to take the iPad out of of the case. Other than the small cons, this case is a great case for students and business people alike.

I purchased the Zagg iPad keyboard case alongside my iPad, and I'm so glad I did. This case is worth every penny. I think I've only charged it once since I've had it, and I purchased it in August. The battery life is exactly what it claims, which is quite convenient. The keyboard backlight is very nice, and it is neat that intensity of the light is adjustable. You can also choose from several different color settings. The set-up of the keyboard was almost nonexistent. All I did was enable Bluetooth on my iPad and found the keyboard to connect them. It hasn't lagged or lost connection at any point. Even though the keyboard is smaller than a typical laptop keyboard, I don't feel restricted when typing. I also really enjoy the click of these particular keys. This keyboard has really enabled me to expand my iPad use. If I have to type a long message, it is difficult to do this quickly on the iPad alone. I would highly recommend the Zagg iPad keyboard case to anyone searching for a great iPad accessory for meetings or typing emails.

The keyboard and case increased greatly my productivity and accuracy when creating text-rich documents on my iPad. I have had some issues with multiple letters appearing with a single key stroke, but this has been rare, and the benefits I have realized by adding this keyboard to my toolbox far outweigh the key-stroke quirkiness.

I had originally bought this for my mom (in a different color), and she started having an issue with it not pairing when you opened the case, even though it said it was connected. We bought her this one, and I started using the old one, seeing if I could replicate the issue. The case works just fine, it just has difficulties pairing. At first, it had no problem with my iPad, so I thought it was just her iPad or something. Nope. Her new one started having the same issue, and then after a few uses, so did mine. Its an issue with this case. For something that is nearly a hundred dollars, the least it could do, is, oh, I don't know, the one thing it was made to do- pair with my iPad. There's no point in using the keyboard part of this if it doesn't even work. It just turns into an overly expensive screen cover at that point, as it isn't very protective. Also, it's really hard to open without holding the bottom down, and although it would never crack or hurt the actual iPad, its just super inconvenient, and defeats the entire purpose of the device in the first place. My advice, get something different.

So I am on my 2nd Zaggfolio cover. My first one was bought the first week I was provided my iPad Air from work. I'm for sure not an Apple fan boy but free is free, right? Oh well, I digress. I bought the original black case and LOVED it. Only a few issues for me was the speakers were muffled because they were blocked and the sound had to turn a corner. That has been fixed on the updated version. Next issue was the apple lightning adapter wouldn't fit but that was it. The new one surprised me for not having a back lit keyboard like the original but oh well. So on this one, my issue is the power switch that feels like it is going to break and it is very sketchy with staying connected. I went to take it back and of course it worked for them. Then stopped again for me, I restarted it and it came back on but what a pain. I love the form and the function when it's working. But the quality seems to be off from the original. Bummer...

Case does not allow my iPad Air go into sleep mode when closed, so I have to manually turn off. That is frustrating. If this function worked, I would have given 5 stars! Should have paid attention to BestBuy's return policy because I would have exchanged it. A product like this should have more than a 15-day return policy.

This product has been a staple with me since the iPad2. I currently have the iPad Air and have had these keyboard/cases on them since the iPad2. They hold a charge for a long time, they protect the iPad. Only thing I would recommend, would be to get a piece of felt to put between the keys and the screen, over time you will get a few marks if you have it bouncing around in your bag.

The keyboard looks and feels great. Typing is very accurate. However the bluetooth connection keeps dropping. This is my 4th day using the keyboard (I'm at a conference and doing a lot of typing/ taking notes) and I've had to "forget" and re- pair the keyboard with the tablet at least 9 times. Unfortunate and I'm rather disappointed since the esthetics and touch typing are so good. I'm going to return this. If they could fix this I'd repurchase in a heartbeat!

The case works well with my iPad Air. I would highly recommend the case not only to protect iPad but to provide keyboard capability.

This product is just plain excellent. It was exactly what I was looking for and just wish I hadn't waited so long before buying it. I read the reviews before I purchased and as far as it disconnecting from bluetooth, I've had no such problems. After a few minutes of sitting idle, the bluetooth may go to sleep but it does not disconnect. I found that tapping a key a few times and waiting 5-10 seconds "wakes" the bluetooth and it works just fine. It is NOT a big deal like other reviewers have stated.

Would love this if it stay connected. Every time I use it, it constantly disconnects if I'm not using it consistently. My sister strongly recommended this, but after she saw mine - she told me hers was a Logitech. So after much frustration, I think I'm biting the bullet and buying the Logitech. Love the functionality of the keyboard so much that I'll buy a new one. Great idea... Poor design.

Had this thing for a few months. First problem was screws coming loose at hinge. Was able to carefully fix this. Next problem, like many others have noted was a cracked iPad screen in the lower corner near the hinge!! What a bummer! Finally, the hinge snapped - appears to be made of very weak and brittle material. Now I have a two piece case. I thought ZAGG was a good product??? I bought this case to protect my iPad and the case actually caused a crack in the screen!!! What a disaster!!! Beware of this unit.
