I bought this lovely little case and I have to say I'm not terribly displeased by it. I did have to return the first one because there was a physical defect at the top of the keyboard near the hinges. I noticed this in a few at the store, so if you are going to buy this online, beware. Another thing I noticed was the balance when it was opened. It would threaten to, or just fall backwards if you open it just past a certain point. The case section that holds your ipad also feels very flimsy, but it works. Also, it can not flip to a pad position. It will always be a sort of mini laptop. Oh and for those who bought this and are confused what USB wall charger to use. I use my iphone's and it works fine. I also plugged it into my computer to charge directly from there.

I purchased this keyboard and after several months of normal use the hinge broke. I tried to take it back to Best Buy because it was still under warranty. They would not take it back because they do not have a support agreement with Zagg. I have to return it to Zagg at my expense. Good luck finding the link to the return request form on their site. The replacement keyboard will take 30 days to ship from Zagg. My next purchase will be through Amazon and it won't be a Zagg product.

I was given this as a Christmas present and only used it once or twice a week. When I gently went to go open it, it snapped in half. I never realized how expensive it was till I went to go buy a new one. If I had known it was only going to last me a month I would have never asked for it in the first place. After further inspection it turns out screws were missing. On top of that the connection sucked. Starting to make me question my future purchases from bestbuy. I'm outraged! It's not even worth the one star.

I have the same Folio but needed to replace it because the hinge broke. Bought this three days ago. The bluetooth connected just fine but as I went on it wouldn't stay connected when I went to another program and came back to use it again. Also when it sits for a while it looses connection. I could reboot th eiPad and it woulld connect again but wouldn't stay connected. The reason for one estar is not so much the product but I emailed customer support and got no response. That was two days ago. I'm going to take it back to Best Buy today and see what happens. I loved my old one which by the way my grandson fixed. It turned out to be loose screws on the hinge. Could be a glitch in this batch. I would still recommend this product because they really work good and protect the pad but with reservation. So long as Best Buy takes care of me I'll stick with it and so long as I don't get another lemon.

I am surprised at how heavy this case/keyboard is. I do not find it as easy to use for reading as my Kindle, and trying to get the IPAD out of the case is quite difficult.

I bought 2 of these for my wife's and my daughter's iPad Airs. My wife's would never connect consistently to her iPad and after about a week it wouldn't connect at all. I returned it and got another one and so far it seems to be working well. My daughter's case worked for about 3 weeks and now most of the keys either don't work or type odd characters. I will be returning it as well. I don't know if I will try to get another one. They haven't had them long enough to see if the reviews of broken hinges and poor hinge quality are true. I have a similar Zagg keyboard case on my iPad 4 and it has worked flawlessly for months, so I thought the quality would be the same with these as well. So far I have been disappointed.

Pros: The keyboard looked great. The color options were nice. The keys were spread out enough to accommodate larger fingers, unlike other keyboards I've tried. The back of the case stands up on its own, without having to use some sort of a kick stand. That didn't feel cheap either, which was surprising. It was easy to setup and use. Cons: We ended up returning this item to Best Buy because it would not stay connected. It could have all of the Pros in the world, but if it won't stay connected to the iPad and you have to restart every day, several times a day just to use it... it just isn't worth it to me. We thought maybe it wasn't getting a good enough charge, so we tried different chargers and different outlets to no avail. I want something that is going to work flawlessly, and this keyboard is not it.

I purchased my first Zagg for my iPad2. loved it. Now I upgraded to the iPad air and saw this great deal on the Zagg keyboard and cover at Best Buy. I guess you get what you pay for. While my iPad2 keyboard was backlit, the original costs were the same. The quality of this keyboard is so much lower it is a joke. I am extremely disappointed in Zagg for putting such a low quality product on the market. I can no longer recommend this product/company. This is just sad.

The case itself is good. The only problem I had with it is the Best Buy associate said it would fit an iPad Air 2 but it doesn't. Yes the iPad fit inside, but the button access holes in the case do not line up with the Air 2.

I purchased this keyboard case for my wife to show her the iPad would work for here in Grad school combining the conventional typing style with Office 365 makes it an easy to care powerful device.

Bought this so I could take notes on my iPad instead of having to carry my laptop, keyboard take some getting used to and not have a mouse is weird, I ended up going back to my laptop in the end.

I returned my second one of these today to Best Buy. It's a great design--makes your iPad into a mini laptop and the cover really protects it. Directions say you should only have to pair it once with your Bluetooth, but both of the keyboards I bought kept quitting. The keyboard would work fine, then I'd walk away from my iPad for a few minutes and when I came back and tried to use it, the keyboard would not respond. I tried turning the keyboard off and on again--that didn't work. I tried restarting the Bluetooth and pairing it again--that didn't work. The only thing that would make the keyboard work was to shut my iPad down, turn the keyboard off, then turn everything back on again and re-pair it with the Bluetooth--then it would work for a few minutes and quit again. I purchased two of these Zagg keyboards and both did the same thing. I even took my iPad with me this last time I went into Best Buy to see if they could figure out what the problem was . . . they were puzzled as well. I've wasted a lot of time and gas going back and forth to the store. I wouldn't buy another Zagg keyboard for any price! I'm typing this on the Logitech and so far, so good . . . only issue is the "Q" key is the same as the "Tab" key so to make the tab work, you have to hold down the "fn" key near the bottom of the keyboard--same with the "A" and "Caps Lock". I won't be typing any long papers on this however, so I think it will suit my purposes very well.

Great keyboard to travel with. Everyone thinks I have a mini computer. Lol. But it's eye catchy. Connects very well and battery life it's awesome. Charges within an hour or less.

I bought TWO of these. The hinge cracked on both a couple months after purchase, with normal use (no abuse or excessive wear & tear). Great while it lasted. Caveat emptor.

My grandpa does not like touch screen on the ipad I gave for his birthday. The Zagg keyboard I bought made him smile and makes it easier for his typing.

Purchased this keyboard for myself to use ipad for school. It worked for about two weeks then it would take me about 20 min to connect the keyboard to ipad and internet, if it connected at all. Took it back and bestbuy promptly exchanged it. I got the same product, as I believe sometimes we are just unlucky to get a deffective product. The same happened with the new one. I even tried to use it at different locations thinking that maybe my internet was the problem. Nope! Returned again and Just got a cover to protect ipad.

This keyboard does offer protection for your iPad, but it does disconnect intermittently. Moreover, this being my second Zagg case for the same iPad, I have found that the rear corners on both sides of the case came apart after a few months. Same problem with both of them. Now I've resorted to black duct tape to hold things together. Not exactly what I had in mind when I purchased it.

I have my third one because the first two wouldn't stay paired. The third one is no better the the other two. I wrote Zagg they sent me number two and three. Custumer service is good but their keyboards IMHO are junk.

When this case is in the open position the ipad is heavier than the case and it makes the ipad bounce around while your typing. Not enough weight to keep the Ipad air 2 stabile using this keyboard. Also keys on keyboard have an awful glare on them and hard to type with ipad reflecting off of them. Very disappointing for as much as it cost
