It transforms your iPad into a mobile laptop by integrating the keyboard via Bluetooth. Not only is it extremely reliable but the battery can go for weeks without needing to be charged. I've only charged it once in 16 weeks and used it for 4 college classes and all the studying and writing that goes with that. Don't let the price scare you after all you get what you pay for.

I wish I would have bought the one with the lighted keyboard. It does not fold to use the iPad alone so you have to take the iPad mini out of the case. They make better cases now.
