Excellent quality case, but the lack of being able to have the case fold back for flat use makes this not for me. Would love to have kept it if it wasn't for the lying flat issue.

What a piece of garbage. Made from flimsy plastic that won't hold up. I got one because the hinge would allow me to put my iPad at any angle I wanted for best viewing. That was nice, but 6 months in, the plastic covering over the hinge started to crack. I am not hard on my iPad at all. It only took a few days before the entire back flap under the screen let loose, and my iPad went crashing into the table upon which it sat. Garbage garbage garbage. Don't make hinges out of plastic, especially for something as expensive as a case that holds an iPad. Do not buy unless you want to replace it every 6 months.

This is an awesome case, don't let any sides flapping in the wind comments keep you from buying it. I've really looked the case over for any signs of anything that would make me dislike it, I haven't found any. It's well built, nice and tight gap when closed and feels solid in your hands. It truly completes the iPad experience, if a keyboard case is what you're looking for.

I wanted something elegant but not flashy, perfect for my mini, you can use wipes to clean it, the strap it's not necessary I never use it, had dropped it several time and my iPad is perfect.

I love this case. The hinged case lets you adjust the screen to any angle I need. Nice hard shell on the outside.

I have owned a few ZAGG products and this one really lives up to my expectations with the exception on TWO things. First, getting the iPad out of the is a bear. The buttons on the iPad and how it goes in and out of the case make this a chore. The other is the white color. I have the white iPad so I thought this makes sense.WRONG. I bought it online and picked it up in store and it was already dirty! I was angry when BestBuy sold me a dirty product I cleaned it before I could use it and then guess what, it shows every finger print and spec of dirt. I am going to return it and get the black one.

I've had this keyboard for 11 months! Absolutely love it, but now the hinge is breaking! Darn! I order another one with 2 year protection plan.

I rarely ever write a review for a product but I really wanted others to know about this product. I've had an iPad for several years with so many different cases that vary from size, kind, and make. People always want thinner products, and no bulk at all. However I beg to differ. I put my iPad in the case and took it right out because it didn't provide much protection at all. It clips in the middle at the top of the iPad and that's it. If it falls, chances are, your iPad will pop out and break. I didn't spend over 600 dollars for no reason. If the iPad clipped in in all 4 corners, and the top, then I'd keep it but otherwise, you better baby your iPad. This product will go back. I will be purchasing a different kind of keyboard case. Something a little thicker, with more bulk, and extra protection.

I purchased this keyboard/case for work use. I figured getting case and then separate keyboard would be more money, so I figured I get this case. I purchased this online and picked up at the store. I forgot to open it to make sure there were cut-outs for the speakers. I got home, inserted my iPad Air, sync'd keyboard and booom...worked like a charm. I then played a youtube video and right away noticed the sound was muffled. Turns out...no cut-outs for the speakers. I did read on other reviews of this product that there is an update case. Apparently Best Buy doesn't have it yet? Anyways, going to be returning it to the store and hopefully pick up one that has the speaker cut-outs. One thing that I kind of wished it would do is open up all way around to the back so it could be used in portrait mode, but it doesn't. Basically, you use it like a laptop.

After just one time pairing, you get to use the keyboard as long as your ipad's Bluetooth is on. Very effective for someone who is not a computer expert. All the keyboard letters are cute, stable and look nothing like cheap. It has blue lights with three brightness level you can choose from, which is very pretty at night. another good thing is the case, it stables your ipad in a good positon, so you dont need to worry about ipad falling off or slide. After you get your ipad into the case, it's like you are using a fancy little computer. I really like it!!

I am on my third case, had to return it twice because it broke. A key came off the first time, and then the hinge broke the second time. The outside white part stains badly from being carried in my purse, and always looks dirty - not easily cleaned. The charge used to hold, now I have to charge it every time I use it. The button to turn off/on is tiny and on the side.

besides cracking the screen of Ipad air within weeks of purchase (very little use). Keyboard now does not work, still very very little use. 1 month past since Zagg customer service contact me, they wont replace since bought at Best Buy, but was to send a invis shield? that's a month ago now, So I don't think customer service so great either. It came highly recommended, everyone who's looked at case all agree, very poor design =( I need it to help cognitive and speech disorder. Why purchase if have to pay Geek squad to replace something? but not the item you bought the case to protect? Unreal stupid all together!

This keyboard seems to have been designed before iOS 7, as the hinge often blocks onscreen controls needed to use the Air. Furthermore, it isn't strong enough to hold the iPad at the desired angle when using the touchscreen.

The hinge started working all right then it wouldn't close all the way without grabbing the hinge part and assisting it to close with your free hand. Then the case where the hinge is located inside the case came apart on one side. Don't know where the screws fell to and couldn't put the corner of the folio back together again. Talked to the manager of the store and since I did not buy protection for a manufacturers defect BestBuy would not replace or repair it. He advised me to go to Zagg and make my case to them.since it was approx. 3 months old WHICH HE COULD WAIVE, but with the visible opening t the corner of the folio hinge, bestbuy could not let it be returned and replaced. The other problem is that the keyboard backlight when used drains the battery very fast. Not Good

I bought this case along with my iPad air. I had to exchange the first case because it did not fit correctly. The second case fit much better. Keys are responsive and I love the backlit color options. But after a little more than a month, it will not turn on. Out of the blue it stopped working. It appears to be fully charged, the charge light is green but it will not power on. Waiting for a replacement from Zagg. Too bad best buy changed the return policy for Reward members. I could have exchanged it at the store.

I bought a Zagg Folio for my iPad Air and it was great. Three months later the hinge broke. Zagg replaced the Folio with another one, but the replacement Folio had a problem. The Bluetooth seemed to go to sleep after a few minutes of inactivity (such as when reading an email or webpage). I asked Zagg about the problem and they treated me like I was a clueless consumer who didn't know what he was talking about. I sent the Folio back to Zagg and never heard anything back from them. I bought another Folio thinking maybe I had bought a dud. Guess what - same problem. Bluetooth connects - then falls asleep after a few minutes. If I want to type anything, I have to 'tap, tap, tap'' a key on the Folio until the Zagg's Bluetooth decides to wake up. Then I can go forward typing. This is ridiculous. I tried looking for a possible firmware upgrade for the Zagg. Nothing. I checked with the IOS folks for a Bluetooth problem. Nothing. I really think this is a Zagg problem. No other Bluetooth device I have does this - just the Folio. It seems like the Folio is entering a sleep mode prematurely.

I had this keyboard for 5 days and the battery won't hold a charge. I charged it the recommended time prior to first time use. The keyboard portion is great but what's the use if it doesn't hold a battery charge? I read people saying that they never have to charge theirs but that's the case for me. Going with the Belkin QODE keyboard. Hope this is one off but for the price I would expect better QA on the product.

I bought this case 1 week ago for my iPad Air and the hinge is already broken and the side is cracked. I've only taken the iPad out of it 4-5 times and I've been particularly careful to keep it from being dropped or damaged. I am very disappointed in the quality of the keyboard and would not recommend spending 100$ on it.

I like the ZAGGkeys Folio Case because it can holds the ipad at different angles. But, the case broke apart less than 6 months. It would not hold at any angles except flat on the surface now. You would think a case from ZAGG cost around $100 will last a little longer. Very Disappointed!

This case and keyboard work great with the iPad Air, but be very careful with the hinges!! After about a month of daily use, a tiny screw came out of the case. I had no idea where this belongs. A few days later, while attempting to close the case. the hinge came completely out of the case, making it unusable. I had to exchange this with the Zagg Cover and Bluetooth Keyboard (Best Buy item #1712922), which I've had no problems with. Again, be careful with the hinges!!
