I purchased one brand spanking new along with my Ipad air 5 right before Christmas 2013. It is now March 2014 and the battery won't take or hold a charge. Junk and I won't purchase another Zagg product ever! Yes, I had this professionally looked at. I had to trash it after 3 months. I have never written a review before but this is inexcusable.

This is a very convenient product and folds away nicely but after having two that broke in the same spot (where the Folio folds), I will be buying a different product which will for sure not break.

My review is for the case and the service. The keyboard looks and works great but it's surrounded by a very cheaply made case, very thin, warped and the hing looked like it might last 2-3 weeks, tops. When I took it back the cashier asked for my ID, no problem but IAdvised him he couldn't swiped my ID but he could verify my ID visually, he then told me it was California law that I had to let him swipe it, What a load of bullsh** with all the identity theft going on with major retailers it's just plain stupid to let them swipe your ID, ALL your info is there! And with consumer protection law we have the right to protect our info and decline to let stores swipe ID's. Won't shop bestbuy again anytime soon.

I bought this case only to have the hinge assembly break after two months of light, personal use. I mailed the case to Zagg and got a replacement case after a few weeks. Tonight the second case broke in the same way when I was just opening the cover and I'm done dealing with this company! I strongly recommend you don't even consider buying this poorly made case unless you like products that repeatedly fail due to poor engineering!

it disconnects itself occasionally and I have to go to settings and reconnect via bluetooth. ALSO DON'T BUY WHITE! IMPOSSIBLE TO CLEAN!

This thing has a cheap plastic build that doesn't fit the iPad Air very well. Once the tablet is stuck into the upper half of the unit, it is hard to reach some of the buttons, like the power switch. The weight of the keyboard/case itself was more than the iPad Air. Why spend all that money to upgrade to a new super light device just to weigh it down with a heavy poorly fitting case. Wish I had waited to the Logitech keyboard.

So heavy it cancels out the benefit of the lighter ipad Air. But the fatal flaw is the way the ipad snaps into the case doesn't allow you to swipe up from the edge to access the new iOS7 control center, one of the best new features of the latest release. Returned to Best Buy
