Bought this case as a replacement for one that I accidentally destroyed. I love it! Easy to set up. The backlit keys are great and you can adjust the brightness. I also like the key style. I would definitely buy this product again and highly recommend it to other buyers!

First off, this product is the ZAGGkeys Profolio+. Not sure why Best Buy has yet to correct the product description. Anyhow, I two other keyboard cases and this is definitely the best of the three. One of them is a different brand folio and the other is similar to this but the top rotates 360 degrees. Even though the ZAGG product doesn't have a nice leather case it's a lot better than the slippery plastic of my other clam-shell case. It's less bulky than the leather case and has a better viewing angle. It's a lot easier to open than my clam-shell and even though it only has one viewing angle it's perfect where my clam-shell has to have all kinds of manipulations and adjustments just to get it open and set to a decent viewing angle. It's almost half as thick as most leather folio keyboard cases and provides better protection than a thin keyboard with no backside protection. The keys are smaller but the spacing between the keys makes up for it. I'm not much of a touch-typist anyway :-) Pairing it with the iPad was a breeze and I don't have to wait a few seconds for the keyboard to respond every time I turn it on. While the price is more than most, I can definitely say you are paying for the best. Oh, I forgot to mention the back-lit keys. 7 different color options, how cool is that? I haven't tested battery life with the keys lit yet though. If you can spare the expense, this is a great buy. You won't find another keyboard case with all of these features--at least for now.

This keyboard/case is the perfect companion to the Apple iPad with Retina Display, if you plan to use it as a "laptop replacement". It is lightweight, fits the iPad perfectly, and has backlit keys that offer three brightness levels, and seven color choices. I have had this keyboard for almost 6 weeks, and use it at least 10 hours a day, and have only had to charge it twice! Zagg says that you'll get 7 to 10 days on a charge, and I find that I get more than double that.

Great case, just watch for fabric separation at the joint. After a little more than a year, the fabric pulled out from under the keyboard.

This keyboard/holder is awesome. I love the lighted keys - this feature comes in handy at night or in darker areas. The touch of the keyboard is fantastic. I get comments from lots of people when they see my using my IPAD and Zagg keyboard. I have recommended it to several people and I hope they were smart enough to go buy it! I also love that when you charge it you have literally a couple of weeks of extensive use before having to charge it again.

On Black Friday, I bought an home keyboard that was on sale for $40 and it was flimsy, the bluetooth connection would stop working, and the quality just wasn't good. Someonee was telling me about Zagg and how they had really good keyboards a long time ago but I didn't look to buy one until now. I'm really happy with my purchase .I mainly use it to brng to school and it's light and small which is perfect because I already have to carry so many books. The quality of the keyboard is really good. The light up keyboard and colors are even better. When I was about to buy this, I was debating on whether or not to pay the extra $30 for a light up keyboard and I'm glad I did. The bluetooth stays connected even if I don't touch the keyboard for a while. And t's energy efficiient because the light goes off in like 10-15 seconds if it's not used and automatically turns back on when you start typing. They are all these little shortcuts for pictures, volume, ipad lock, etc which are pretty convenient. I'm still getting used to typing on the keyboard but overall I'm happy. The only thing I didn't like is that it's $130. As great as it is, I think aat most it's worth $80-$100 but I still decided to keep it. Would reccommend.

Nice keyboard accessory for the iPad. Makes the ensemble feel like a notebook computer. Backlight is awesome for using the keyboard in low lighting; you can choose 7 different colors (white, red, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, purple) and three brightness levels. Keyboard is attached to a folio that covers the entire iPad so the aluminum back is protected from scratching, etc. All jacks on the iPad are readily accessible. Two things I don't like as much. One is the viewing angle, which is fixed, so if you have the iPad in your lap you often feel like you are looking down on it from above. If it's on a table it's unnoticeable, though. The other is the keyboard size, which is about 90% of a full-sized keyboard. This is needed to match the width of the iPad, but that 10% difference does cause you to mistype occasionally. Other than that it's a nice product and a good companion to the iPad.

I'm all about functionality, simplicity, and high quality. This product has it all. No fuss! It gets you right where you need to at a flip of a switch, once you've "paired" your device. Ladies, ready to throw in your purse? Just shut and store. Ready to use? Flip open, slide into groove and turn on your keyboard. It's an excellent deal. So you think it's a bit much (cost)? Not at all, when you consider the cost if you were to purchase a case and a bluetooth keyboard separately. The feel of they keyboard is great- nothing sticks and if you're a fast typist, you'll appreciate it even more! Another reviewer had a great suggestion on cleaning the keys since it easily absorbs your fingers' oils. The black case is sleek and the backlighting is a nice value-added feature.

I purchased the previous version, which is black leather bound. Bluetooth keyboard is easily removable from the base for better desktop function. iPad clips into the back cover, when folio is folded & clipped everything is well protected. I still use an axillary Targus foam case for extra security. Charge port for the keyboard was kind of placed in an awkward spot, is covered by the Zagg case while in place, There is only a couple minor flaws, but are exceptable . Otherwise a fine, functional product.

This keyboard case is exactly what I was wanting. Love the backlit keys. All the keys work how they are supposed to. I use it for my iPad 4 and it fits perfectly. The Best Buy title was a little misleading, should've said ZAGGkeys PROfolio+ Keyboard Case Cover for iPad 2/3/4, not ZAGGkeys - PROplus Bluetooth Keyboard for Apple® iPad®. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase.

I bought this keyboard cover for my iPad and I absolutely loved it. It was super easy to set up and I love the backlit option on the keyboard. I saw that it had great reviews and figured for the price, it must be well made. That is where I went wrong. This case is amazing until it stops working. The mini USB charging port is apparently very fragile. After only eight months and minimal charging, it has stopped working. I am completely frustrated and now have to try and see if I can return it. It really is a sturdy case and provides great protection for the iPad. The only other suggestion that I would make is to avoid the white case. I made that mistake and it gets very dirty and requires daily cleaning.

Wasn't sure if I wanted a keyboard for my tablet, but decided to try it. This is great! Faster than trying to type on the screen. This keyboard is lighted so it's nice to use when there isn't alot of light in the room. Even my son likes it!

Overall this keyboard is ok. The keyboard itself works great. It was easy to pair with my 3rd gen iPad, and the keyboard is very comfortable. The iPad also stands well in horizontal position, so if you're looking to use your iPad as if it's a laptop, it's great. However, if you ever want to use it in vertical position, it's fairly awkward. The keyboard part doesn't fold back, so there's really nothing to do with it if you want to turn your iPad vertically. Also, I think the cover material looks kind of cheap.

I have owned this ProFolio+ for exactly 3 hours, and I can already tell that I am going to enjoy this MUCH better than the Logitech Ultrathin, that I have had for only 3 weeks...Why? 1) On several occasions I have opened my laptop case to find my Logitech Ultrathin case separated from my iPad...weak magnets=scratch liability 2) With the ProFolio + the iPad slides into a secure boot that keeps the iPad securely in place....no risk of the iPad separating from the protective case. 3) Back Lit keyboard is going to make using this in low light a breeze. 4) Ultrathin is $30 less, but I would rather pay the extra $30 for the ProFolio+, instead of paying $600+ to replace an iPad that got separated from the magnetic clasps and ended up face down on the ground.

I researched a lot of ipad keyboard cases. After reading many positive reviews I decided to buy this one. I had been looking for a light sturdy keyboard with a protective case as I travel a lot and use my ipad 2 for business. I purchased two keyboard cases for myself and business partner. I've been pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to type on. I take my ipad in and out of its case all the time and the removal from the case is easy without damaging the ipad. Yes it is a bit expensive but you get a well made product. This seems to go on sale every month or two. I wish it were a little bit lighter but I'm not complaining. It is still very compact without adding extra bulk. The color backlit keys are a bonus. My only regret is not buying it sooner.

I've been an early adopter of ZAGG branded products back since 2008, I've watched the company grow from Screen protectors (InvisibleSHIELD) to audio (ZAGGsmartbuds) to fully featured hardware. I bought this because while the iPad's on-screen keyboard is still the best around, I wanted something more tactile to send lengthy emails on. I did a lot of research, and looked at Logitech, Kensington, and a couple of other lesser known brands. I noticed that the ZAGGkeys complimented the look of the iPad, and they keys were backlit with 7 color options. I luckily got this on sale last weekend, but I would have happily paid full price for this. ***The keys are smaller than that of a normal laptop (similar to a Mac/MacBook in spacing) and the important keys (delete, tab) are smaller than normal causing me to type "===" as opposed to the delete key 3 times. This takes only a few emails to adjust to and isn't worth taking off a star as it could just be my typing style. The case seems very sturdy, and holds the iPad securely when it is in its stand. It stays closed due to the magnetic cover (which also triggers the wake/lock function upon opening/closing) and doesn't flop open at all. There is no cutout for the speaker, BUT instead there is a reflector to drive the sound towards the user, as opposed to away from the user as the speaker is located on the back of the iPad. Overall I recommend this case to anyone who wants to type faster on the iPad. It works well, is easy to setup, and the backlit color choices are a great addition.

The keyboard is compact, lights are bright, and easy to type on. Love the case that fits the iPad because it is easy to open and close for usage!

This is an amazing little keyboard. Battery life last forever. Smooth, light, easy to cary and conceal.

I was so excited to be able to type like I mean it on my iPad, and Zagg was a name I trusted. I spent $129 plus tax and really thought I'd be getting something for my money. Instead, the case did not perform to my expectations or as they'd promised. The magnetic closure does not put the device to sleep, you have to do it manually. The magnetic channel which supports the device does not do its job: as I type, the back flops down. This is especially problematic if using the device on your lap, because it can fall to the floor; and it has numerous times. The only positives are the island keys, backlit display, and copy/cut/paste ability. Overall, the quality and performance are not commensurate with the price or promises. Then you have customer care, which takes forever to get back to you with a simple question like: why do the documentation and product not align; i.e. there are functions noted in the document that the keyboard does not do. The reason they finally gave was that the document was created after the product. I'm so disappointed I wouldn't trust this manufacturer or buy another Zagg product again. Ever.

this is hands down the best case and keyboard for the ipad 2. I have always wanted one and when I saw it with the lighted keys I had to have one. This keyboard changes colors which makes it better. and I love the shortcuts that are available. i would recommend this accessory to anyone needing to type a lot of things out.
